I don’t think it’s manipulative for Future Eve to tell Mark to essentially free her younger self from the limbo of “will they, won’t they?”. She basically told him to give her closure. Begged him to let her know SOMETHING. He likes her, he doesn’t like her. He doesn’t want her in that way… literally anything. So that she can move on from that situation without questions or doubts or “what ifs”. I don’t see how that’s a problem.

While I somewhat got Armstrong’s motivation, I never understood why he made *our* Mark suffer. He goes on and on about other dimensions and my reaction is always “Then what are you doing HERE?! The one time Mark IS a hero?!” Maybe I missed something, or the point is that Armstrong is confused and overwhelmed, but he seemed cowardly to me. He challenged the one Mark who still showed restraint, only to mess him up.

I’m feel like it’s a product of him fusing with every other iteration of him. They all witness evil mark’s atrocities and it fucked up aangstrom’s mind, especially with the explosion of the entire machine. Maybe if the machine didn’t explode and everything went as normal then he wouldn’t have attacked mark.

Really? I genuinely enjoyed Ambers character so much more throughout season two. She was so much more likeable and even had a rational and understanding reason to break up with Mark.

Seeing Mark have a mental breakdown at the fact that he killed Angstrom and thought he was stuck in a barren wasteland was heartbreaking, even though, yes, I do agree that Angstrom deserved to die. Mark justifiably killed him in self-defence, plus he also hurt Debbie and threatened Oliver. Angstrom Levy is also a tragic villain since he's struggling to juggle every memory of alternate versions of Angstrom in the multiverse. Still, in nearly every universe, Mark is evil and kills or ruins Angstrom's life in each of them. Even if it was all Angstrom's fault to begin with, I still can't help but feel a little sorry for him. Steven Yeun and Sterling K Brown did a phenomenal job and gave performances of a lifetime in this episode.
It's also shows Mark's moral/code is being pushed and or tested, he doesn't wanna be a killer like his dad until when it comes to defend his family even though he was trying to empathize and help him but Levy wasn't having it, thinking it's a good idea to push Mark's buttons. It also comes to show you that there is a limit to how much a person can take

No it was directed at Angstrom he talks to Cecil about it and says "I thought he was stronger." So he was referring to Angstrom, it can be seen that way but even in the comics its obvious who he is talking about.

A big problem occurs and the solution happens almost immediately with no prompting and literally out of nowhere. It's never even brought up again. Unimportant alternate versions of characters taking 20 years doesn't matter when it still happened moments later in the story.

Mark was definitely justified with angstrum. Although a detail that i liked is that even though he wanted to, he took no pleasure in killing. Those are the type of heroes I'd trust with a kill rule because they'll usually avoid lethal force unless it's actually necessary.
You can't trust any superhero with a kill rule, because once they kill one person they'll justify killing someone over messing with his friends and then corrupt politicians, ect until they're just a tyrant.
The fact Arachnid-man referenced the Spider-verse makes me think this is just him wearing his SHIELD attack outfit. It would be amazing if the show got renewed and they remade this scene shot for shot, but now Invincible is the one who looks off but is still voiced right.
It was the actual Spiderman in the original Invincible comic. They just couldn't do it in the show since Disney owns the rights to Spiderman's animated likeness

I just wish we got to see more alternate Invincible looks, we only got two; Caped Invincible and Tracksuit Invincible. The rest were just standard suit Invincible doing heinous acts. I’d like to have seen a few more variations, one with an Omni-Man coloration, one styled like the Viltrumite military uniform, one of him in just a suit wearing Donald’s glasses like he and Omni-Man are running the GDA. I know we’re going to get some more in the Invincible War but it would be cool to see a few more versions before we get there.

What Eve did? I don't think so. She just said, "Give me an answer so I can please move on." In fact in the comics Mark comes back and the two of them immediately begin dating. Right after he broke up with Amber. At least here, they didn't just devalue Mark and Amber's entire relationship.
The beginning of the episode with the portals was really annoying with ho dumb Mark was being, but it was great how they turned it around and he locked in. This episode has really elevated the show
What exactly did you want him to do? Risk levy killing his family? We've seen that he can open portals very fast. He was trying to catch him without knocking his head off until he realized that guy was too far gone
He was catching mark by surprise, because its a bit hard to stop your momentum moving at high speeds to hit someone, and mark was trying to salvage anything he could to not kill Angstrom, and then after he started throwing hands mark realized he needed to be put down, well before that when he saw Debbie with a snapped arm, he lost it and went ham on Levy, rightfully so
I disapprove of any slander of Batman. You don’t have to like the character but regardless a little respect to the characters. Nice besides, it’s not his fault it’s the writers.

That Angstrom fight scene through the alternate dimensions was pretty cool. Would've been nice if he had the upper hand longer. His mental assaults to Debby and Mark were excellent and done right. The point really was to break this Mark and prove himself right. Making Mark suffer was the main objective.
Angstrom knew Invincible better than anybody and anticipated when he'd attempt to go for a speed blitz. He almost slipped a couple of times, but he was smart enough to keep him busy and break him mentally.

Eve telling Mark isn't manipulative. Literally just wanted to vent how she felt and tell Mark to tell her how HE feels. Love her or not, Eve gets closure and the chance to move on Lord knows I had moments where a simple response went a long way
Personally I dont see Future Eve telling Mark her feelings as manipulative its basically just her confirming to him her attraction and when he tried to say it back it just confirms he might feel the same and lets him now to tell it to his Eve. Also personal favorite moment was Mark coming in through a portal and rocking Levy's shit with the Dragon's Breath sniper rifle that was hilarious.

Future Eve has been waiting for 20 years to slide in on Mark and it was still too soon. Debbie is a queen though. She's not nearly as strong as Mark hopes she is, but she stands on business and knows how to raise good super boys.

I hope everyone knows that angstrom isn't dead. And he's going to come back and start the invincible war arc. Which is by far the scariest fucking arc (in my opinion) in the entire series
One pf my favorite things about this episode was that Mark tried his hardest to say he isn't like his father But this beating he did on Levy can be a parallel to S1's ending where Omniman was giving the same beating He tried his best to not be his father but Mark is Nolan's son and he has to be like his father for the upcoming future
To summarize this episode: Angstrom realizes he's just a side-character and throws a tantrum at Mark.

True, her character took a HUGE step up in S2, but quickly the cracks in their relationship started to show & it was only going to grow more complicated. Sadly, it's over, but it was more or less inevitable.
Seeing Mark have a mental breakdown at the fact that he killed Angstrom and thought he was stuck in a barren wasteland was heartbreaking, even though, yes, I do agree that Angstrom deserved to die. Mark justifiably killed him in self-defence, plus he also hurt Debbie and threatened Oliver. Angstrom Levy is also a tragic villain since he's struggling to juggle every memory of alternate versions of Angstrom in the multiverse. Still, in nearly every universe, Mark is evil and kills or ruins Angstrom's life in each of them. Even if it was all Angstrom's fault to begin with, I still can't help but feel a little sorry for him. Steven Yeun and Sterling K Brown did a phenomenal job and gave performances of a lifetime in this episode.
It's also shows Mark's moral/code is being pushed and or tested, he doesn't wanna be a killer like his dad until when it comes to defend his family even though he was trying to empathize and help him but Levy wasn't having it, thinking it's a good idea to push Mark's buttons.
It also comes to show you that there is a limit to how much a person can take
@@Achieme Yeah and mark mistaked him for being stronger since he legit said "They enhanced me" something of the sort and he started throwing hands showing he was superhuman in a way, so mark assumed he would be able to take a beating, and he wasn't, and its not marks fault for all 3 of those reasons

No it was directed at Angstrom he talks to Cecil about it and says "I thought he was stronger." So he was referring to Angstrom, it can be seen that way but even in the comics its obvious who he is talking about.

A big problem occurs and the solution happens almost immediately with no prompting and literally out of nowhere. It's never even brought up again. Unimportant alternate versions of characters taking 20 years doesn't matter when it still happened moments later in the story.

They even made a point to mention that in another universe mark wasn't found and did survive on that planet and became different

Mark was definitely justified with angstrum. Although a detail that i liked is that even though he wanted to, he took no pleasure in killing. Those are the type of heroes I'd trust with a kill rule because they'll usually avoid lethal force unless it's actually necessary.
You can't trust any superhero with a kill rule, because once they kill one person they'll justify killing someone over messing with his friends and then corrupt politicians, ect until they're just a tyrant.

It would be amazing if the show got renewed and they remade this scene shot for shot, but now Invincible is the one who looks off but is still voiced right.
It was the actual Spiderman in the original Invincible comic. They just couldn't do it in the show since Disney owns the rights to Spiderman's animated likeness

I just wish we got to see more alternate Invincible looks, we only got two; Caped Invincible and Tracksuit Invincible. The rest were just standard suit Invincible doing heinous acts. I’d like to have seen a few more variations, one with an Omni-Man coloration, one styled like the Viltrumite military uniform, one of him in just a suit wearing Donald’s glasses like he and Omni-Man are running the GDA.
I know we’re going to get some more in the Invincible War but it would be cool to see a few more versions before we get there.

What Eve did? I don't think so. She just said, "Give me an answer so I can please move on." In fact in the comics Mark comes back and the two of them immediately begin dating. Right after he broke up with Amber. At least here, they didn't just devalue Mark and Amber's entire relationship.
The beginning of the episode with the portals was really annoying with ho dumb Mark was being, but it was great how they turned it around and he locked in. This episode has really elevated the show
What exactly did you want him to do? Risk levy killing his family? We've seen that he can open portals very fast. He was trying to catch him without knocking his head off until he realized that guy was too far gone
He was catching mark by surprise, because its a bit hard to stop your momentum moving at high speeds to hit someone, and mark was trying to salvage anything he could to not kill Angstrom, and then after he started throwing hands mark realized he needed to be put down, well before that when he saw Debbie with a snapped arm, he lost it and went ham on Levy, rightfully so
I disapprove of any slander of Batman. You don’t have to like the character but regardless a little respect to the characters. Nice besides, it’s not his fault it’s the writers.
Nowadays people just forget what Batman means to others or something. Honestly i hate seeing a lot of Batman slander just because of how he's been written lately and nowadays since a character has been written bad then everyone just hates the character in general and whenever a new Batman story is written they don't even bother to read it even if the writer wrote batman back to his routes.

Angstrom knew Invincible better than anybody and anticipated when he'd attempt to go for a speed blitz. He almost slipped a couple of times, but he was smart enough to keep him busy and break him mentally.

And eve was sane about it . “ tell her you love her, tell her you don’t love her , tell her her something” because eve is living with this pain or void after losing mark . Personally I dont see Future Eve telling Mark her feelings as manipulative its basically just her confirming to him her attraction and when he tried to say it back it just confirms he might feel the same and lets him now to tell it to his Eve.

I don't see the Eve thing as manipulative because she does emphasize that he needs to her something. Either say he has feeling for her, or that he doesn't. But he needs to pick one. He probably will still take like three episodes to say anything but that's more due to the show's pacing.

I dont think Eve was manipulative. She told him to just give Eve some kind of answer, to give her closure, she wasnt neccessarily trying to sway the outcome to a favourable answer. I mean it is kinda sad that she couldnt just move on, but it is also relateable due to the fact that in her timeline Mark just disappeared, leaving alot of shit unsaid.
I love how Spider-Man- I mean Agent Spider subtly references Spider-Verse when he said "I know you're from another dimension. Way too much experience with that, especially lately"
I still find it funny how some characters are still act like Mark could switch sides any moment, but the more they act like that, the more likely it is for that to happen
I hope everyone knows that angstrom isn't dead. And he's going to come back and start the invincible war arc. Which is by far the scariest fucking arc (in my opinion) in the entire series
One pf my favorite things about this episode was that Mark tried his hardest to say he isn't like his father
But this beating he did on Levy can be a parallel to S1's ending where Omniman was giving the same beating
He tried his best to not be his father but Mark is Nolan's son and he has to be like his father for the upcoming future
