I'm thinking this will make a gorgeous blanket even though it'll be a bit time consuming for me. Your detailed explanation is appreciated, thank you also for the perfect camera angle!😊
It will! Just take your time and enjoy the process! If it gets too slow, you can alternate with rows of double or half double crochet at regular intervals (5-10 inches of each).
@@Pakrs61 As far as fabric density both will give a similar result. As far as width, you will need to make sure that the rows of DC or HDC have the same nr of stitches that you had in the very beginning. For example here I did 12 (mltpl of 6) + 5 and started in the second chain from the hook, so my total stitches worked into was 12+4=16 sts. So if I wanted to do rows of DC in this sample, I would have to make sure that I have 16 DCs. This might sound a bit complicated for beginners but I hope it makes sense!
@@MalinkaYarnCrafts I sure appreciate you taking the time to explain this to me as I've been trying to figure it out Before I started because one thing I don't like is frogging! So kind of you to guide me through this project ❣
Very pretty. I will try first to make a wash cloth. 😊
@mariemessina6363 That's a perfect way to practice a new stitch! Hope you enjoy it!

@MalinkaYarnCrafts Thanks for your suggestion! Either of those will give it visual interest and help hold it's "shape", yes?
