Make sure your pans or pots are metal, not aluminum or Teflon most are made out of old & used junkyard engine material. Also the aluminum gets into the brain that causes amnesia through out the years. I only use wood or rubber spatula’s when cooking. Great video.

I'd recommend sauteeing the shrimp over a high heat before the onions to give them some color (=flavor) plus you get a nice fond in the pan (= flavor). Put them on the side, add them back at the end so you can control the cooking. Use the shrimp shells (toast the shells first) to make a stock to use instead of using water.
My mouth is watering for the whole recipe! I’d add the andouille sausage and once it’s served I’d add some diced onions and scallions!! Looks delicious and I will definitely try it, Lord willing!!😋
I love mushrooms and shrimps but the most stand out thing about this video is your music selection! The intro track was godly, I lol when you spill some of the milk with the record skip but I lost it when you add in that slow jam at the end while you buttering those breads.

I feel you. I remember we use to go down and catch garbage cans full of blue crabs off a little highway bridge in New Orleans. I mean we would stack up on those blue crabs big time until eventually the city put a fence up over the bridge and we had to find other spots but that use to be a popular spot a little bridge that was about 10 ft over the water and right by a little highway. In my opinion blue crabs might not have the most meat on them but they damn sure the sweetest.
