My thoughts 💭 are not really good. I imagine my fish in a washing machine or like having inside my tank a water beam like laser😱. I try to keep nice water recycling without extreme surface movement. The opposite would it be beneficial I believe.
The downside to doing it is youll give your filter a worse "lifecycle" the rotor / engine part isnt build to push water trough a smaller hose / adapter solution (Even tho the lilypipes look 100x better) So in the long term your filter is probably going to have trouble / failure because of this "trick" ... Shame tho, would love to run even more "invisible" glasware on my tanks :( But for me not worth the eventual risks it involves with the filter

To remove lilypipe from the tube - first gently push it deeper inside the crack the seal and after that you can slide it out. Fresh tubing grabs the glass really well, so you might have to make rotating moves to get it out gently
After, otherwise pressure will build up when closed which will result in a blow out when tap is opened again or can cause the tubing to pop off from the tap!

I don't like the fact that you promote jbl one instead of eheim. Eheim connectors are on the market for so long and satisfied all aquarist around the world. Jbl just copy 'em. I have no problem with partners or sponsors but you can promote a product without criticize another. Friendly.
I’m using eheim connectors my self in the small desktop nano and other client aquarium. JBL connectors are new and because Eheim has been there before, doesn’t mean no one else can enter the market with a similar product. JBL not simply copied the connector from Eheim. The locking mechanism is different and you have a unique possibility to connect 13 to 17mm tubes which is not possible with Eheim connectors. On Eheim side this requires an adaptor. I haven said Eheim is bad, I actually like Eheim design over JBL, but JBL is more budget friendly. This is objective facts and my personal opinion. Now everyone can make his own opinion and decide what he wants
@@JurijsJutjajevs you didn't say that you prefer eheim design in the video, you just say some negativ points on eheim one and promoted jbl one, that's it. Anw) you right but saying that you can open the valve during the opening is a bit much.... a defect that you went to search far 😉
You are right, did say that in a different recording. I just rewatched the video and from my point of view it’s a fair comparison with slight focus on the JBL as it’s a new product and a budget friendly alternative. Eheim looks nicer and feels better when you hold with your hand and is also available in a larger range of different sizes. I should have added this to video, as I did in the description. If you have and use eheim valves, it’s all good. I didn’t want to promote JBL over eheim, simply introduce because they are new and show how and why I’m using mine.
Are you using dbl tap quick release connectors? What are your thoughts about using a smaller size outflow?
Are similar or those products available in the United states

@@danielmatias7175 Haha. There's a store called Pisces Exotica Pet Emporium in Calgary, AB. It's also the ISTA brand which should be at least less than half the price!
We can't fined this in India, can you please help me out.
I couldn’t find it in the internet either. The product is brand new. You can talk to your local shop and ask them to import for you. Or check the link in the description - it will take you to JBL homepage and you have to check if they are shipping directly to customers from India
Does JBL sell 13mm sizes?
Yes they do, must be a link in the description
This is a game changer Jurijs, thank you!
Try the Qanvee Double Tap With Quick Coupling Aquarium Filter and see how it compares ;)
It looks very similar. Is there any difference?
@@JurijsJutjajevs sorry i don't know but i like to find out ;) i most likely will purchase a pair there are 40 au each here in Australia
Another great pro tip.... Keep tanking
Hi jurjs love your advice
thanks Jonah, what do you think about different size outflow?
@@JurijsJutjajevs I think it is an interesting concept but because I have only a 4 gallon 5n UNS and I will stock with CRS I have no need for such a strong flow. But when I eventually get a larger tank I want to boost the flow I will definitely use this trick. also, I know that you are very particular about your co2 systems but can you please do a video about sugar and yeast co2 system I know you have a lot to do and DIY is not your thing but please take a look at it. The king of DIY has a video about it.
Vietnam sub thank you.👍
I was more impressed by the beauty of the house....
Thanks mate „proud“
Nice product but canister filter is still a dream for me
Have you ever considered to build one your self?
@@JurijsJutjajevs yes i thought of building one but air tight vessel isn't available here and parts required of pvc pipes to build sealed canister isn't available too.
Ok int his case i don’t know what to recommend , sorry
@@JurijsJutjajevs that's why i had onf flat one 60 cm hanging type, superjet es 300 v2 and co2art regulator as my 3 wishes. Since I already got the regulator i would like to change regulator with oase bio master 600 thermo. Even the products you have used or reviewed would work😜. So i can setup another real Clean looking high-tech tank.😄
My ex threw all of my taps away, and I didn’t want to buy more, so I made my own from pvc pipes and fittings and made each one for about $3-$4 each

"Turn off all from Jurijs Jutjajevs" Me: "click"
Thank you for your comment, really appreciate it
sorry but what do you expect when you get so specialized in plants and co2 and technical stuff. some of us come here cause YTB algorithm sniffs out our love for fish in aquariums and recommends your channel. naturally we are disappointed to find out it's not about that but about the underwater horticulture instead..
Thank you for the explanation. I’m sorry my content disappointed you
@@JurijsJutjajevs that is ok. I'm sure you are an expert in what you do. I was just being overly dramatic about it. sorry
I use this method

Always use double tap connectors makes life easier.

A little bit pricey I think...
they just got cheaper thanks JBL. in general you might be right, for a little bit of plastic its quite a lot of money
Yeah it's a good thing for the connection and prices (even if you said "almost 2x more expensive... We are far from it...
