A remaster shouldn’t happen because the game is still being sold full price on the marketplace and still looks amazing to this day. Even the old gen consoles they first came out on the games are being sold for 30 bucks even though the servers for old gen is offline.
They don’t deserve to remaster destiny 1 after everything that has happened in the company. Anything they touch they screw. If their for real remastering it, then only make it available on console, you’ll thank me later
That would suck because a lot of people that play the game are from PC. I'm already having a hard time making LFGs now on D2 imagine if they go rid of the cross-platform.
They don't have backup save files of any of the expansions from d2 (why you may ask because it's bungie they're really really slow) so a combination is impossible that's why red war nor forsaken will never EVER return unless they remade them from scratch.
We don't need a destiny 3, the game is over and so is the story. A spinoff wouldn't do anything because majority of players playing don't know the story at all and with the story being over I cannot see another way to make a spinoff there's no factions to fight, we beat the darkness bungie set up destiny to have a linear story and that story has finally came to an end. What they should do is let the game rest and have a semi good legacy. A destiny 1 remake/pc port would be perfect for this D1 is beloved by veteran destiny fans and has a fun loot pool and a functional pvp. A destiny 3 would come out like every other destiny game with a mediocre story, mediocre loot, and a casual friendly grind system and the same problems would arise all over again ruining the franchise even further. While a D1 will bring back positive memories, have a good fun pvp, a good loot pool, classic raids, no fomo since it's a box shelf game, and more and more things to grind for it's just better than D2 in every single way hell they can even bring D2 loot to the D1 remake. Very glad bungie doesn't listen to it's community though because majority of twitter destiny players have no idea what they want and would make the game worse than it already is most of y'all don't have good ideas or opinions.
@fluttgirshy People have said, "Destiny is over" countless times. This is slightly different than before. But it has, and will bounce back. There are storylines to wrap up still, the Hive Pantheon, Vex threat, anx now the effort to recolonize old Riis by Eramis. Not to mention that Caitl will most likely attempt to retake Torobatl. Destiny 1 reboot is fun to think about, but pointless. Most D1 content is in D2. If D3 doesn't happen, I'd rather Bungie focus on future content. Not a pointless remaster.
@@DylonSanThe problem is whether Bungie will finally start listening to the community instead of trying to maintain as many players as possible. The fact they're keeping crafting out of the game in Heresy tells me they're not gonna listen so why should players invest time into a game that the company seemingly wants to kill off?
I don’t think they should remaster D1 anyway. It was a great game but for the sake of the story I’d rather they work on new stuff and a new saga. If they want to remaster D1 they should just add all the content to D2.
You're overlooking the huge group of Destiny players that would be absolutely stoked if, instead of more crappy new content, they would fix what we have now. The game is riddled with issues and having them correct even some of that would make the experience so much nicer. You are also incorrect regarding Destiny 1. I cannot believe you put things such as Rise of Iron remotely in the same league as The Taken King. If these were the only times it was fun to play Destiny 1, there would be no Destiny 2. Figures you'd go to frame rates, and not mention that for most of Destiny 1's run, until the last expansion, they actually tried balancing weapons, so you could use what you liked. Exotics were all special and a tad OP, as they should be. But that was more work, so towards the end, and throughout Destiny 2, they continue to simply shift the 'meta' around, leaving most exotics completely useless at any given point in time. That is so much less work, the perfect lazy path, the Bungie way. We get it. Info not based on actual player input other than your own. That's cool cause your opinion is as valid as anyone else's. I just think you have a bunch of things wrong.
Bungie has been slowly fixing issues in Destiny 2 with each content release, their QOL updates have actually gone mostly unnoticed because the PR has been so bad (their own fault). RoI was a good DLC, not great. And I said it was a rung, or two, below TTK in terms of overall content. Perhaps generous, but I associate RoI with Age of Triumph. That's just me. D1 had its fair share of issues, aside from frame rates. The Story initially was horrible, that and the forever 29 grind from VoG was horrendous. A problem they didn't fix for a time. The problem there is that the time it would take to fully update everything is too much in comparison to adding new content to D2. And if they didn't shift the Meta everyone would still be running Mountain top, Recluse, and Anarchy. Finally, yes this is my input it's a YT video not a Reddit post. And an opinion can't be wrong, just different. Doesn't matter what we think anyway, it's fun to discuss. But ultimately, Bungie will do what's best for the game (Financially), which is adding content to D2. Content, old and new.
@@DylonSan I can get behind that. But the only solution isn't perpetually shifting the meta, completely controlling what weapons everyone is using. You pegged the correct weapons, Mountaintop, Recluse and Anarchy, but that issue existed because they stopped working on balancing, and began just continually changing the meta. Still say that is the easy and lazy way, but that's just my opinion. Those 3 weapons, not exotics, but just legendary weapons, were some of the most OP things to ever exist in the game. All one had to do to resolve that is tune each of them down a bit in some manner that brought them back into realm of other weapons. They were hard to earn, so you leave them a bit hot, but not as hot as exotics. Instead, they killed exotics so hard that in any given season, you have a handful of usable exotics at best. My vault is stocked with exotics, many that I worked hard for, that are completely useless and have been for years. Then they spit in our faces. You worked your ass off for the Whisper and the Outbreak Perfected, and then again even harder for the catalysts. Now they reintroduce the missions so you can do it again (ugh!) to get even better versions of the same weapons? Newer player don't mind, cause they weren't here. But OG players are pissed. I know this because I hear it all over Discord and game chat. Perhaps you're correct and Bungie is slowly fixing their way through the tons of issues, bugs and glitches scattered throughout the game. It's kind of a little too late. They spent so long under bad leadership with the attitude 'don't fix, just add. More, more, more." They could spend the next two years just trying to fix all the glitches and never get it done. But, I wish them luck. I wish those that truly love the Destiny universe luck, that Bungie doesn't make things worse.
no thanks bungie likes money .thats all they like . everybody that made bungie bungie left or were fired. stop playing destiny, they dgaf about us/you. just money.

Ill say it once... and ill say it about 44 more times. Just combine d1 and d2 into a single destiny.
That's literally what they have been doing.

Are you unable to comprehend what’s beyond light and darkness? I don’t blame you since you’re in the thick of it.

Hey, ever heard about a game called Warframe?
Sir, this is a Denny's.
