I don’t really like his art design, but how he plays, MMMM it’s the best completion bonus of any game. “Oh you completed the game already? Here, take this op mask and eat the tar out of majora!” It’s so fun to just beat majora into a pulp with laser beams in what otherwise would’ve been a difficult battle.

Shame they forgot that FD is twice the size of adult Link. Sure I get that it's only noticeable if you use a cheat to wear the mask outside boss rooms in which he towers over everybody in the game but it's still a shame he's so short in hyrule warriors.
I feel like that would ruin the appeal. He's called the Fierce *_DEITY_* and every appearance of the outfit implies that Link is an actual God while wearing it. That amount of power is too OP for anything other than a boss battle and wouldn't be special if it played a more normal role.

They scanned the Amiibo and got the pants for the fierce deity set and they didn't have the sword because if they did they would have used it and you can only use an amiibo once every 24 hours. Sorry :/
Toon Link should have a fierce deity skin in SSBU and Young Link's final smash should be him putting on the Fierce Deity mask. Definitely the way it should be.

Yeah that always annoyed me too. The answer is that his moveset is the same for both his forms so they needed to make the kokiri sword as long as Fierce deity's but he already had a long sword in Majora's mask (the great fairy sword) so I don't know why they didn't just use that instead or better yet just give the young link form a basic version of the main Link's sword and shield moveset or something.

I'm a Link main in Smash. All three. My biggest gripe with Ultimate is thst they aren't better representations of their games. They all play completely different due to speed, range, and knockback angles. YL is combo heavy, TL is a straight zoner, and Regular Link is in between (best part about all three is that you can play each of them either way if need be), but I would have wanted to see TL use the grappling hook for a teather instead of the hookshot. Use the skull hammer. Use the hurrican spin when his UpB charges fully. YL use the masks in his moveset. Have the Gilded Swors and the Termina Sheild. FDL as his Final Smash. Use the second level Sword spin when charged. Link have Daruk's protection as his shield (like how Yoshi goes in an egg. Just as an aestethic) have Urbosa's fury as a charged UpB. That would have been a dream come true.
If anyone didn’t know, the fierce deity link amiibo doesn’t exist yet, meaning it’s basically impossible to get the outfit. But the way he got it was by using a custom amiibo thing someone made. Pretty sure it goes on eBay for about $15.
I was so happy seeing this form of link in warriors and botw in some way to show it hadn't been forgotten and that hopefully there is still a future for this awesome power. I do think ultimate loos so bizarre without the armour.
I really would've liked to see them update Young Link into a Majora's Mask setup. Gilded Sword, mirror shield, Light arrows, new hookshot, Fierce Deity as Final Smash, maybe give him Great Fairy Sword with a new 2-handed moveset as a special

You are all correct. Of every dev ever to live he's prolly the hardest working and even as a figure of speech it could do his work ethin no justice. I mean he used an IV drip when he was sick for God's sake. Let me rephrase. I wish they would have put a little more effort into the Fierce Diety skin and a few other grips with YL and TL not being better representative of their game. Despite this there is no possible way he could have made a more perfect Smash game. He is a gaming god. And a example of work ethic very few could contend with.
Hyrule Warriors does a much better job of illustrating the fact that Link was, like, a 1st grader in OOT/ MM than either of those games did lmfao. It's simultaneously adorable and _horrifying_ to see a little boy struggling to lift his sword and having the weight of the blade constantly throwing him off-balance right before he's _thrown right into a raging battlefield filled with demons and monsters._
The Fierce Deity mask is an awesome reward for doing all of the side quests! After a long and sometimes frustrating game it feels rewarding to just whale on the final boss
Botw link has the fierce deity outfit yet for some reason in ssbu link just has a different colored outfit instead of the real outfit Sometimes the effort they put in to link is just sad
Fierce Deity spirit in Smash Ultimate with the Majora's Mask spirit is the ultimate endgame. Like the stats aren't really that good right but you ignore it anyway and win most of the remaining spirit matches due to a sudden boost in confidence. It's a real 4 star killer if you're good with Link on top of that.
Fun fact in Majora's mask Fierce deity was huge maybe as tall as Ganondorf in ocarina of time. You can only see it if you glitch Fierce deity outside boss fights and walk around town. He makes everybody else in the game look tiny.

It seems like Hyrule Warriors, a noncanonical Zelda game, makes better use of the Fierce Deity than Nintendo does in its official games. It’s either an extremely limited item, or an Easter egg. Hyrule Warriors realized its power to the fullest extent compared to the others (aside from MM since that’s its original game).

exactly (though I didn't use any transformation masks or anything during my first fight with majora it was tough but hey I never have to do it again)

I was so happy seeing this form of link in warriors and botw in some way to show it hadn't been forgotten and that hopefully there is still a future for this awesome power. I do think ultimate loos so bizarre without the armour.

I really want Fierce Deity to show up in the BOTW sequel, not as a costume but as a power. Even if its only for a boss battle I want it to come back.
I wish Young link in smash ultimate had an alt costume that made his weapons and items the Majora's mask versions, and use Fierce diety as the final smash. Also, I just really prefer how his face looked in melee compared to ultimate. In melee his face resembled his artwork much better.

Sakurai really got lazy with Fierce Diety's alt in Ultimate... I mean that's fine... considering how unbelievable ultimate really is.
He put sooo much effort into that game

You are all correct. Of every dev ever to live he's prolly the hardest working and even as a figure of speech it could do his work ethin no justice. I mean he used an IV drip when he was sick for God's sake. Let me rephrase. I wish they would have put a little more effort into the Fierce Diety skin and a few other grips with YL and TL not being better representative of their game. Despite this there is no possible way he could have made a more perfect Smash game. He is a gaming god. And a example of work ethic very few could contend with.
Hyrule Warriors does a much better job of illustrating the fact that Link was, like, a 1st grader in OOT/ MM than either of those games did lmfao. It's simultaneously adorable and _horrifying_ to see a little boy struggling to lift his sword and having the weight of the blade constantly throwing him off-balance right before he's _thrown right into a raging battlefield filled with demons and monsters._

The Fierce Deity mask is an awesome reward for doing all of the side quests!
After a long and sometimes frustrating game it feels rewarding to just whale on the final boss
Botw link has the fierce deity outfit yet for some reason in ssbu link just has a different colored outfit instead of the real outfit
Sometimes the effort they put in to link is just sad
That EPIC moment where your effort to have all the masks paid off
Fierce Deity spirit in Smash Ultimate with the Majora's Mask spirit is the ultimate endgame. Like the stats aren't really that good right but you ignore it anyway and win most of the remaining spirit matches due to a sudden boost in confidence. It's a real 4 star killer if you're good with Link on top of that.

Fun fact in Majora's mask Fierce deity was huge maybe as tall as Ganondorf in ocarina of time. You can only see it if you glitch Fierce deity outside boss fights and walk around town. He makes everybody else in the game look tiny.

It seems like Hyrule Warriors, a noncanonical Zelda game, makes better use of the Fierce Deity than Nintendo does in its official games. It’s either an extremely limited item, or an Easter egg. Hyrule Warriors realized its power to the fullest extent compared to the others (aside from MM since that’s its original game).
From a religious standpoint, only MM used FD as he should be used.
It's a Meme You Dip if that’s the case, Fierce Deity shouldn’t even be used whatsoever. It’s possible to beat Majora without it, so why bother using potentially evil power in the first place?
@@Rexis102 Fierce Deity is not an evil power. It's a holy form that can be taken only by very holy beings. For example, beings who have taken upon themselves to help as many people in the cycles of life as possible. It's actually genious.
It's a Meme You Dip Majora reveals that the Fierce Deity could be just as evil as Majora itself. Link, in the canon ending, takes that risk and uses it to destroy Majora once and for all.
