The maximum operating temperature is very quickly reached through the use of the Therma-Boost switch. In standard operating mode, it operates with an output of 30 watt. It is ideal for cutting or processing synthetic materials, foams and Styrofoam, as well as for soldering. When the Therma-Boost switch is pressed, the red lamp lights up and an output of 130 watt makes a quick burst of heat available to you. The Therma-Boost function works intermittently and after activation is available for use every 8 sec.
