- How I unclogged the obstructed spout on our Nespresso Pixie coffee machine, made by DeLonghi. The pump was working, water pumped into the reservoir, but wouldn't come out the spout. Easy fix in 5 minutes.
You’re a genius, I was getting ready to throw my machine away but I followed your instructions and now it works perfectly. Thank you
Lol, that’s great news!
How old is your machine? Thanks. 🙂
Oops, sorry I didn’t see this till now, didn’t get a notification. My machine is 10 years old.
Thanks for the clear video. This was vastly easier than an an unnecessary disassembly for me. The "backflush" method worked very well! NOTE: I added one other step: I have a "WaterPik", so I filled it with warm water, opened the Pixie as if to put a capsule in it, then blasted the perforating plate, channels and holes with the WaterPik while holding it (unplugged) over the sink. That removed even more coffee that was stuck.
That’s a great idea. For those of us without a water pick, a little scrub of the perforated plate with an old toothbrush works well too.
Thanks for this video!!! Very helpfull!! I was about to buy a new one and with your help I have rescued my coffee maker. ✌🏻✌🏻😃😃
Hi, I'm from Brazil. This is the most straightforward and helpful video I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you!
I was about to dismantle my Nespresso Citiz (TUR mix TX 170) by looking at how-to videos, when I spotted your short explanation: it just worked and spared me a lot of time. Thanks a lot for sharing!
Great! It’s worked for a number of different models.
Thank You for this video!! Very helpfull!! I was about to buy a new one and with your help I have rescued my coffee maker, ✌🏻✌🏻😃😃 Greetings from Spain!!
Me alegra mucho!
After 2 days of wasted efforts and being 1 click from purchasing new pixie ....I found your video. EUREKA!! just like new. You Da Bomb!! Thx a Ton
That's really great, thanks for letting me know. Now always run a little water without a capsule after each cup to keep the spout clean.
This was clutch! Keeping it rolling for another 13 more years please!
This video is out here still saving machines. THANK YOU.
Glad to hear it, just crossed 100,000 views!
I am so glad I found this video!
My Nespresso Pixie had a only dripped instead of having a steady stream through the spout, and the coffee would come out very watery with barely any crema. Also, I could see a lot of water dripping at the back into the container where the capsules fall after the extraction.
I was scared to do it, thinking I would ruin the machine... But I tried it and now it works as good as new! No dripping at the back and a steady stream through the spout!
Thank you so much for sharing!
That’s great! Thanks for writing this, I enjoy hearing the success stories.
This is the most straightforward and helpful video I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you!
Thank you!!
The descaler was not working anymore, but this helped!!
Thank you so much! My machine wasn't used in so many years, I thought it wouldn't work any more and get rid of it, but I tried to do this video and now I'm in the couch enjoying a cup of coffee thanks to you 😊
Thank you for giving me the most satisfying 5 minutes of my life. Miracle worker!
What?! Lol.
@@mbertoluzzi watching 10 years of junk come out of that spout was the most fun I’ve had since 1997
@@michellebh oh my goodness, now I get what you mean by satisfying!
It works! Thank you! I don't know what I would do without my Nespresso machine
Bingo! Worked like a charm. Thanks a million! I have the exact same machine and it’s 12 years old and still going strong….now that I’ve followed your simple instructions. I descale every six months (I only brew one lungo cup a day), but I may increase that now just to keep it happy.
Thank you SOOOOOOO much!! I thought ours was broken and we had to buy a new one. This worked perfectly!! Money savior!!! 😁
Genius, short video, no tools, 100% useful
Solved my Nespresso problem, and was very clear to follow. Thanks so much!
You are a freaking genius, you just saved my 5 year old coffee machine! Thank you, and much love from a grateful portuguese!
That’s great! Mine is 10 years old!
Very useful video. I had just watched one where they took the whole machine apart so was happy to give this one a try. Just like in your video, lots on gunk came out and now the machine is working great. Thank you for your time puting this out here.
That’s so great, I’m really happy to hear it!
Well done my friend ! You saved me from having to go buy new ones.
This worked! It was about to go into the trash before I saw your vid. Thank you so much.
Best solution for this problem!! I have fixed my Nespresso without tools and work, thanks a lot ! very useful video.
So simple, but worked like a charm! Thanks!
I was about to send it for service , I just watch your so informative tip ! I ve just fixed it ! thank u so much!
It worked! Thank you so much. You saved me from buying a new machine.
Awesome!
Game-changer, I tried so many things, and this fixed the problem first time!
How great is that! Thanks for letting me know.
I've tried at least 6 hours of other fixes and this is the one that worked. THANK YOU!
I my goodness that’s great!
Great simple fix. Thanks for sharing. I had contemplated disassembling as shown in other RUclips video's to clean mechanism from the other end which is difficult and complicated to access. Once you understand the basic engineering (or plumbing) involved, it's such an obvious fix. I also used a metal wire to facilitate clearing and unclogging of the nozzle - not sure if this was necessary. I also did a descale as suggested by one of the other comments. Worked for me. Works as good as new.
Sir you're a life changer ! Thank you so much for the tip you literally saved me time, effort and money so THANK YOU
Thanks so much. I did this while waiting for my descaling kit in the mail and it worked! I did not see chucks come out but it still worked!
I back flushed my machine with hot water as you did, but I then took it out in the garden and back flushed it with the mains pressure hose. It fixed the problem as I had to buy a new coffee machine. . .
Lol, you did an extra good job!
Yea it shot out my hands, tumbled across the grass and hit a tree. I couldn’t find all the broken bits in the long grass.
Bruh!@@stevel1451
not only did it fix the blockage, but the quality and aroma of the coffee is now in a level I forgot existed
That's great. You're the first one to mention the quality improvement, but it makes sense, a clean machine!
That did the trick .Water is now flowing.Thank you 😊
Best tip, works great! Beats another video that suggests pulling the thing to pieces. Thanks
Thank you very much. You saved me from buying a new brewer.
Thank you so much for sharing this fix! You saved me from buying a new machine 🎉 Cheers from Miami!
So helpful! It totally fixed mine. Thanks!
Dude, this works! Thanks a lot for this vid, I was going to take the whole thing apart and you saved me a lot of work! Brilliant ;o)
Lol, really glad to hear it!
Like everyone else-thank you! Fixed my Pixie in 5 minutes with no disassembly!
Great news!
Thank you so much… it worked 👍👍👍I’ve been stressing about my machine and im so glad I watched your video ❤❤❤
Thank you, I have a 5 year old Nespresso pixie clips and it worked. The cups are getting 50% more water now (tested without capsules).
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
Another Nespresso machine brought back to life 🙌
Music to my ears, Brother!
Thankyou bro!!
You really helps me & my machine.
I tried same way. And It works!!
Woo hoo!
Haved used the same hack on our KRUPS coffee machine XN3006 and works perfectly well; thanks for a tip 😏
it worked!!!! your trick was awesome! Canada thanks you!
Thank you! Your method worked great. I was close to replacing the O-ring. 😅
It worked for me!!!Thank you so much for the tip!!!
Thank you brother. It’s back to life!!!
All right!
Thank you so much for this, it fixed my machine
Ok. I'll try that tomorrow. I've tried the ziplock bag, moving the water container back and forth, opening and closing the empty pod container rapidly--all to get rid of the air bubble that's supposed to be the problem. Finally gave up and went to bed which is when I saw your video. Tomorrow will be 4 days without coffee. 😱😱😱
Thank you for this. I suspect this may be the problem. In addition to the air bubble.
Brilliant! Fixed the problem. Thank you 😊
This vidéo is very helpful. Thanks a lot. You Just savez my machine
Extemely helpful! It worked for me as well. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! It saved my day!😊
Thank you so much, Sir!

👍🏻🙏worked!!🙏🙏
Thanks genius
Lol.

Tu m as sauvé merci j allais recommander une pompe et passer au demontage
Muchas gracias! Pude solucionar mi problema! 😊
Me alegra mucho! Felicidades!
what if the water doesn't come off the back? and a littile from the spout?
If water’s not dripping into the reservoir, it sounds like a different problem.
Nice
Worked!
Hi my Nespresso machine water sprot is not locking (*lock inside on top of the waste container) to pump water out though h the sprot, instead is pumping out the water directly to the waste reservoir., How can I fix the lock? I noticed that if I take of the waste reservoir and lift up the lock manually then the water comes out though the sprout, this is how I noted the issue is with the lock. do zou have any ideas s on how to solve this issue?
I don’t, but it sounds like you’re on the right track. You’re troubleshooting logically just like I did.
like a charm. Thx!
tubular, bro
Thank you!!
What happens if your machine has a burning smell
Oo, sorry, I don’t know. Sounds maybe electrical?
Did this but now machine is flashing just the espresso light. twice, pause, twice, pause. Once when unplugged and plugged back in it kicked the pump on...but I did not have the water tank on at the time. ??? Did I kill it?
after waiting...now both fast flashing...like descale mode. But holding both buttons down does not exit. they just continue to flash. ???
@@myroccbox8877 It sounds like it’s stuck in some mode. I’d check the manual to see what those flashing lights mean. I think you can restart it in a way that resets to factory defaults.
Its working on capsule machine of Enzo/all capsule machines? Or just pixie? I have enzo machine and water and coffee not coming out
Maybe, I seem to remember a comment where it worked on another machine. But of course, my technique is only for the specific problem of a clogged spout.
