For Mac users:
.The mac version of gimp uses the default mac UI, making the menus look like they are not a part of the program itself. You should be able to find the same things there as suggested here as long as you have the program selected and on fullscreen.
.On mac the program allows you to manually write the name of your file format

Good vid, also for Mac you can Right click on the image you want to use and navigate to "Quick Action" then "Convert Image" and Change the size there.

For starters if you make thumbnails in Photoshop just save it as jpeg instead of quick export and quick save
That did it for me
Save as
Then jpeg

thats why you should use a 16:9 template to avoid this issue. you can resize it, but it looks squashed.

There is a bug in the channel persmissions in RUclips studio

No need to download the app just to resize the image to lower than 2mb you can just do it by resizing the pic you have till it is lower than 2mb

ow no, below 80 it starts to show. 80-90, you have to look really closely to see it.
For the best results, make the quality as high as possible as you can fit in the 2MB.
You can get away with a lot with JPGs
