Every game except the first fails to get the period feeling exciting (not to mention correct). Mafia 3 is the second best at this with all the great missions and pretty good variety of vehicles...although the shine effect in that game so unique, its almost unbearable by how it looks and glitches out. Mafia 2 is next, it sort of failed at the two years it said it would be during, and the vehicles showed for this...in total the game was just unfortunately unfinished and what a tragedy because it was going to be even more special than it already was/is. Then there's Mafia Definitive edition, where the story was literally one story that they spanned over 15 or around that, missions and the vehicles were....incorrect to say the lease, and the free roam map "which they made not for the story considering the wide expanse of areas" was so clunky and boring with the most dead looking air around it, that it might as well have been a ghost town free roam.
I hope that hasn’t copyrighted the Mafia 1 theme to him. It happened with the entire Fallout 3 soundtrack as a guy used bits of it in his music. You have to mute the game music if you stream it or DMCA comes knocking. Really stupid.
Interestingly, the only game where you could actually jump off from a skyscraper is Mafia 3. Though, it’s locked only behind one mission where you raid the hotel

@JACKRIDERPLAYZ to be fair, Hangar 13 and Rockstar are both owned by Take-Two, so they could arrange both studios to use the Euphoria tech in their games (or let Hangar 13 use the RAGE engine).
This is probably why they never allowed us to fly or swim, the gun shooting, running were amazing. sucks to see Mafia 2 was just a bad remastered compare to 1.
