Lived in New Market my whole life. Such a charming place, but pretty small

Yes! And it's nice to see the historic downtown area remain untouched with all of the development elsewhere in New Market. Thanks for watching!

I completely agree with your #1 and #2. I had no idea that New Market had a small downtown. I'll have to check it out sometime.

The best definition of "best" is "the most rural".

If you live in Ijamsville (I do) you shop and have access to medical in Urbana.

Thanks for your comment! We are in Monrovia and end up going into Damascus for things instead with it being closer. But it's nice to have that option!

I noticed Urbana was not mentioned is that because it is a census area?

It's an over populated area and bleeding over into our area of monrovia

I think you miss-spoke regarding the Monrovia school - you said HS but I think it’s to be an elementary school.

You’re thinking of the new Green Valley Elementary school which is already under construction in the Landsdale community. Monrovia will be getting a HS and the land has already been acquired behind the Truist bank. Thanks for watching!

Maryland is the only Confederate state with a weak Jupiter (relationship to "God"). Mountainous part of state was not of one mind with the growers of the plateau. Lee expected support crossin the Potomac River there, but got none.
Legislature was about to vote to join Confederacy, but all members were arrested, & the governor and the mayor of Baltimore were taken captive to spend the time of the war in NYC.

Gettysburg, PA is too far north. Do not come! We dont want overdevelopment!

I wish they'd stop developing rural areas all together. We don't have the infrastructure for the traffic that's already coming through Frederick. I'm on the outskirts of town and they're putting 400 new homes on our little country road

Ha! But what about Walmart, Costco, and Sam's Club? Home Depot and even Harbor Freight? But, most importantly, Aldi and Lidl for inexpensive and top-quality groceries? All the towns you discussed are SO MUCH NICER than the socialist Monkey County.

      socialist Montgomery County?? LOL

Bingo. But Monkey Co. has ruined Frederick as it is. Thanks 270. Always socialists escaping the mess they made, to live in some charming more rural American place, then creating the same mess. Including their cancelling everything they disapprove of. Hagerstown is next. Watch out.
