Ya know, when I was a kid, my cousins and I picked up pop bottles along the road and turned them in for 3cents each. We wrapped our school books with paper from grocery store bags to keep them looking new. We were conservative in all things, you never left a light on when you walked out of a room. People have reversed all the things we used to do.

It's because human brain have 2 parts, one is instinctive/savage/emotion and the other is the analytic part. The numbers and facts from climate change only affects the analytic part of the brain. However the emotional part, which governs our behavior, is not affected. We know underneath that we can't escape math or cause-and-effect reasoning but if the bad thing from climate change sounds so distant, we can't relate.

5:34 ". . . so; why are we not reducing our emissions? . . . Are we evil? No; of course not. People keep doing what they do because the vast majority doesn't have a clue about the consequences of our everyday life."
Big Oil has known about global warming through hydrocarbon emissions for about 70 years. So long as they get richer they don't care. Politicians who depend on Big Oil for campaign donations won't do anything about this issue.
(Trump just revoked the power of the state of California to cap auto emissions. Because California is such a huge part of the market, since the 1970s, the entire auto industry has built all cars slated for sale in America to Californian standards. By scrapping those standards Trump has basically changed it so all new cars in the US will pollute more. This is going in the OPPOSITE direction of what we need . . . .)
So long as the politicians get re-elected they don't care. That means all of the GOP and all of the corporate Democrats. The world cannot move forward on this issue without the active participation of the US. We need to put more progressives in office . . . . GOTV!

In fact, modern factory farms emit far more greenhouse gases than you can imagine. Not only the buses you catch, cars you drive, planes you take, the meat served on your table also contributes greatly to global warming. If you have to catch buses, drive cars and take planes, then try to eat less meat to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases.

And you need to think about what you see in the media, and discuss it with others-including IRL, which BTW is TTTT where I could do better. This is extremely important. Why? Because there are those who are pushing solutions to our climate problems which are very dangerous, and sometimes frankly just delusional. Those bad ideas exist on BOTH ENDS of the spectrum of discussion (and even in the middle). They must be challenged. This is every bit as important as our individual actions, because the wrong kind of big project could easily undo all the good that individuals accomplish.

I totally agree with everything you've said that industry has definitely had significant role in contributing to the problems that we have now. That is something we are all very familiar with. Geoengineering is definitely not a conspiracy theory and I think that it is something that we should be seriously looking into the affects of the constant spraying. It is not a theory when you can see a grid pattern or huge x's across the sky. I don't know where you live but we see them here almost daily. Why spray and cover our sunsets or sunrises every single day? I've even seen them across the light of the moon. We can hardly even see a decent night sky anymore. Why and for what reason and I mean the 'real' reason. Everything is so inverted. What is really going on compared to what the mainstream media in all it's vastness only talks about things they want us to hear which is not necessarily the truth. The problem is we can not Produce enough reliable electricity to power all homes businesses etc and electric cars. Nuclear but that has serious draw backs also. Natural gas is the cleanest fossil fuel which runs most power plants, so to power your electric vehicles you burn Natural gas to get that power.
Solar and Wind farms help but to keep up with demand we would need 10 times as much as we have now plus we have to replace and maintain what is in place now. Fossil fuels are needed to produce all of this. Electricity is not a low cost item and to achieve any kind of sustainable level the cost would be so high most people would not be able to afford to heat their home. Fossil fuels is used for planting and harvesting crops, if that can be changed to electric equipment fine but food costs would be through the roof.

I have Aspergers and I can tell you what she is saying if true means we need to eliminate 65% of the human race as emissions is a band-aid on a severed limb. The only way to reduce the impact is to reduce the cause that is humans everything else is a temp, not a permanent fix. So I wonder if she understands she is actually calling for a Thanos type event.

A "thanos type event" is the easy fix, but instead of removing humans to reduce our negative impact on the earth, each and every one of us could reduce our negative impact on the earth, by consuming less resources and taking action against global warming, to reduce the negative impact we humans have on the environment.

We r not politicians. We can't do anything big. But we can do some minor things.
Eg. We should use eco friendly carry bags.
We should share our vehicles with friendly people.
We should swith off light bulbs when not in use.
We should use water as less as possible.
I know these are not big steps but if everyone will only do these things, this can also help to save the World.

Also, don't use disposable utensils. Less need in the market can significantly impact industries' production of it.

Which part you do not understand the damage has been done? It will take both financial and human capital to undo all that, also it could backfire. We do not know how nature will react.
It like asking your body to make new teeth after maturity age! kinda oxymoron, do not you think?

China produces more carbon than ALL the world's industrial nations combined. China generates 13 trillion tonnes of carbon each year from 3000 coal filed generating stations and they increase that number by more than 500 million tonnes per year by building more new coal fired plants each year than exist in the rest of the world. China has no plan in reducing their Carbon production until 2056 when their population collapse will take care of it naturally.
I might take Greta seriously if she and her cult protested in front of the Chinese embassy or pointed the finger at China and yelled SHAME. But she is oddly silent - is this because China is funding Greta?!
