- Avenger 220 has been the only true blue Cruiser in the Indian segment it offers comfortable riding position which is designed for long distance touring and is priced very well.
Avenger 220 bs6 has no real competition because the rider dynamics and the overall design of the motorcycle is very different from what we have seen in the Indian market.

I am using avenger 220 cruise 2015 model. Bike is just flawless, amazing comfort. Zero issues or breakdowns since I bought. I service bike regularly every 6 months. In total love with the bike. But recently test rode meteor 350 n it's a different feeling altogether. Much refined engine , good exhaust note, same comfort levels as avenger. Thinking of selling avenger as I want different riding experience, having ridden avvy for close to 8 yrs now
I also have Avenger street 220 from 2016. It's really an underrated gem. Very light weight, adequate power, easily flickable in traffic and good mileage too if you don't ride like a maniac. There are literally no real low slung bikes like Avenger. If you modify it a bit, it'll look crazy good.

Being BS6 FI engine, there is no reserve indicator or reserve knob. Almost all avenger owners are complaining of highly inaccurate digital fuel tank. So whats the solution to avoid running out of petrol? Obviously, other than having to manually open the lid and peek inside the fuel tank....

Both are good bikes and this video is very good and informative. But it is important that the bike looks beautiful. Meteor looks and sounds beautiful while avenger is an extremely common but efficient bike

Both are different segment bikes. Avenger is a cruiser while Enfield can be termed as a tourer cum casual cruiser. I have Avenger 220 Cruise and a 1972 Royal Enfield too. Both offer unmatched performance at their own level and segments.

Stock tyres does skit on the slushy roads, so change the tyre. Go for ralco speed blaster off-road tyres. Your problem will be solved. Avenger cruise skits more than street. I am also purchase street 220 in coming months.
At the end of the day Meteor is the beast for cruising.
I am owing thunderbird from last 13 years. Clocked more 150000+. No issues with it. But in term of its maintenance Avenger is better option.

I've used avenger cruise for about 2000kms and only downside i felt is lack of power on open stretch highways and in city traffic.. stop and go.. because i had to lift my legs again and again from ground to pedals. I think this is general problem with cruisers in city. Just wanted to know if its same with meteor. Do we have to stretch our legs our more in meteor as compared to avenger or is it a little bit less? Or is there a day and night difference between them like riding a classic and then riding a suzuki intruder.😂Because even a few degrees on less stretching has huge impact if you travel in a city mostly with stop and go traffic.

Bhai bas ek bat bata.. me local me bike nhi chalata... bas kabhi kabhi sal me 3-4 bar sirf pahado pe jata hu.. or me akela kabhi nhi jata 2 log hote h.. meri ride spiti & laddakh ya uske jaisa hi kuchh hota h... to kya streat 160 thik rahegi.. 2 log baiyh ke hills pe problem nhi hogi ? Q k me jada paise kharch nhi karna chahta.. to soch rha hu streat k bare me.. but confuse hu....

Bro Avenger 220 street is discontinued to increase the sales of 220 cruise and 160 street. As earlier peaple were buying 220 street only. Now in Avenger segment only 2 models are available.

Sir main apane liye Bajaj Cruise 220 lena chahata hun. Daily use men 25 km to 35 km aur month men kabhi kabhi 250 km se 500 Km tak chala hoga kya ye sahi hoga.
