The project will help in improving ground water level.The Project entails treating sewage water flowing from Koramangala-Chellaghatta Valley & filling 126 tanks in Kolar & Chintamani A A biggest sewege water treatment project in India initiated by Govt. of Karnataka where the treated water will be used for Irrigation by filling 126 lakes of Kolar and Chikkaballapura districts of Karnataka state.66 KV Substations Successfully erected by MEIL to lift water.

Good awareness about treated water and its utilization , and precautions to fallow prior to using this treated water . In my view the water should be used to recharge in barren lands and in forest areas and which further purify the water in sub surface . Allowing these water to Agri - tanks are not good as its effect on ground water for drinking purpose is uncertain . The state has sufficient surface water to utilize , from excess rain fall over western Ghats . Implementing these projects are taking decades of time . The Centers water resource ministry is least bothered to facilitate in completion of these projects , both from point of administratively and financially , the pending projects are Yettina Hole , Upper Badra , Mahadayi , and utilization of remaining share of krishna river water !
@@sv9446 I agree with some of your suggestions but these water cannot be pumped to forest because this water is not suppose to use directly for drinking or for bathing. Dangerous for wild animals if these waters reach the forest. Anyway if this bengaluru sewerage water gets processed in 3 stages this water will become as good as drinkable water which Israel country is doing. The government should upgrade this project in future for 3 stage professing. And recently pumping of water started from yettanahole water started flowing till vanivillasa Sagar in Chitradurga district may be this year water may reach reservoir constructed near byragondla village near dodaballapura
