I have the Select Pro. And let me tell you: from the first second I heard it playing I have no doubt I made the best purchase. The sound is very clear and the BASS is so powerful. Can't explain how such a small speaker sounds better than my home theater. The motion boom is a bit more clear sounds but the bass is the same. Had Bose speakers before and trust me, this speaker is just as good. W-king speakers just didn't reach that level of quality. Awesome video!!!
@Oswaldo PL Thank You! You've answered two top questions for me: What budget speaker sounds the most like Bose? Should I spend double the money on two Motion Boom Plus or for less that the price of 1 Motion Boom Plus, get two Select Pros? Select Pros it is!
@@amiralions2681 I am glad I can help. Here is what you need to consider. The Select Pro and Motion Boom are basically the same size and they both sound amazing with a very decent volume indoors and outdoors. Now if you are looking for a huge speaker then go with the Boom Plus, this one is big, not easy to bring outdoors if you like hiking, camping, etc. I am very happy with my Select Pro because it has LED lights that everyone loves.

I got a select pro on some dumb impulse buy at a wally world..somehow the upc scanned all wrong and charged me $15 and some change...I said nothing lol..speakers works nice especially if you got an EQ..bass gets surprisingly low for such a tiny boom box

A little means very little difference is there because boom has taitanium drivers thats why....
The select pro sounds like some frequencies near 600hz-3khz are missing, it has everything above and below
I use an EQ to fine tune, if it had some tweeters, this could be a super budget speaker

Селект Про выиграл по сцене и середине, бас примерно одного уровня , поэтому выбор за Селект Про цена его гораздо ниже, чем у Бум зачем переплачивать ? А Титановые диафрагмы это маркетинг не более того...
I been on the fence on buying soundcore it caught my eye because of the price I always go for JBL Bose Sony but I'm going to grab select pro at Walmart because they are on sale and they don't carry motion boom but I really want the boom I hope I don't get disappointed with select pro any options

@@HBV90 thanks for the input I don't really want to spend a lot of money right now and It seems like it has the most bang for the buck except for the motion boom I didn't know if the titanium drivers make that much of a different because I don't want to have anything delivered to me right now because of my neighborhood unfortunately people been stealing

Haven't heard either of them in person but if all things being equal in design parameters the titanium drivers should provide a cleaner sound due to less flex of the cone vs the one without the titanium drivers (unless the other one is using a superior material like carbon fiber for example).
From this video it seems Motion Boom sounds cleaner
@@MrWirelesscaller did you notice less flex? or do you mean just in the center of the cone? The Titanium is definitely a bit cleaner overall. Select Pro was down to $50, but looks like the Motion Boom is at $80 currently.
@@DKTD23 As I mentioned above I didn't hear either of them, but what I pointed out is both were designed equally other than one having a titanium driver cone and the other having a more "flexible" cone material (for example if this other cone material was paper or plastic), the titanium driver should have a cleaner sound because it won't change shape as much thus distorting the sound. I was just stating an engineering principle when it comes to most audio drivers, you want the most linear motions with the least amount of physical distortion/flex that may introduce errors to the sound. From the looks on the video it seems only the surround isn't titanium both the cone and dust cap are the same titanium material.
The theory was reinforced by the content creator and Thibaut M̵̺̍ȧ̸̮h̴͓̉r̷͖̋ī̵̖n̵̜̍ǵ̷̝ĕ̴̘r̷̤͆ stating what I predicted, the titanium drivers made the sound better due to better clarity, or "cleaner" performance. When you listen to the part TheFatRat & Anjulie 2:50 on, the decay in song is much more audible on the titanium drivers, I think the flexing of the other cone material is why the detail is missing.
Pro has deeper bass. Boom has better highs

@@MiriVentures I don't have rave neo, I only have select pro and 2 flare 2 and I can paired 3 of them.
As advertised you can pair Select pro with other party cast speakers from Soundcore (select pro, flare 2, rave Neo, rave partycast and Mega)
It is impossible to create high-quality sound if the same speakers reproduce low, medium and high frequencies. It's a cacophony for consumer goods, for those stoned or drunken youth who need a rhythmic loud noise like music.
