That monster went rogue after finding out that his father left his mother for a foreign woman during Desert Storm. He just wanted to take his anger out on anyone, and Muslims were an easy target to him because he had already been taught to hate them by his spiteful mother. No wonder his father left that witch.
The worst part is that the father told the son he kept trying to visit him, but the mother wouldn’t let him.

I read a story about a man that left his family (wife & daughter) bc the daughter was dating a black guy. The wife defended her daughter and he made wife choose, him or divorce. Wife stood by her daughter. Man left moved a state away. For months on his own living in an apartment, eating nothing but microwave dinners, his nice Latin female neighbor came over to greet and bring him a plate of food. After that the became friends and then dated, and fell in love. He reconnected with his daughter and apologized for being racist towards her (ex that impregnated her & left) bf. When his ex wife found out he was with a woman of color, she was understandably hurt and asked him to come back now, since he’s not “racist anymore”. But he stood firm by his decision since, in the end, he turned out to be POS bf.
But he still doesn’t understand that, any race could have broke his daughter’s heart & the only reason he was with his new gf, was he was lonely and loved that she took care of him. 🤦🏾♀️
This story was a reminder that ppl that are racist, are the dumbest mammals ever.
This right here shows the dangers of racial assumptions. Every race, not just Arabs, have the potential to be evil. But just because they CAN be evil doesn’t mean they ARE evil.

This reminds me of a news story of a NY woman pushing an Arab man onto subway tracks, saying 'they' caused 9/11. It's tragic that it takes one person, group or event can poison and warp a person's mind.
Which is crazy honestly 9/11 happened because the US was bombing middle eastern countries. Frankly it’s crazy because with the US definition of terrorism that’s literally the US military 😂. Those who live by the sword die by the sword. That story is so awful, but the sad thing is it doesn't even surprise me. My mom once said that she thinks there were other Islamic people who knew something was going to happen, but they kept quiet because they were afraid if they said anything, the terrorists would find a way to kill them too. My dad says the same thing about the majority of Germans in WWII. One word of protest against the regime, they'd be as good as dead. Goes to show, no one is safe from extremists... not even their own people.

Religion wasn’t really a factor here… she was just a spiteful woman who had to blame every Muslim that her husband left her. And judging from how bad she screwed up her son, it was probably mainly her fault. And no true Christian holds that much hatred toward others. They just use it as an excuse.

Nope, Sean actually died at the end of this episode. He murdered another Muslim man while he was in jail and then he got jumped and killed by that guy’s buddies.
The husband was so close to expend the rest of his life in prision.
This excerpt eems like a particularly relevant glimpse into current issues. SVU always seems to be much more focused on the police detectives work, rather than the Attorney General's office, as occurs in the original L & O. Still good tho'! 👍
I think it was really cool that they kinda had a glimpse on the job of people other than detectives. I mean, I is a TV show and they do have their own pro NYCPD bias. But the average person has 0 knowledge of the justice system, so even a TV show explaining some stuff is some help

So basically this Killer started his rampage because he felt slighted by his father. His father fought in the war, fell in love with an Arab woman and divorced his mom to pursue her. His mom being scorned told him that his father died in the war and spread an astronomical amount of hatred towards Muslims and Arabs to him which he obviously absorbed and resonated with. Especially after finding out upon enrolling to college with benefits from his "deceased" father that his dad was still alive. Thus leading to him actively trying to spread more hate and harm/kill any Muslim/Arab he can. While on trial he ends up killing his Muslim roommate and tries to use it as leverage in his case only to blow up his own spot in court causing a breakthrough in the case and allowing him to be charged, only for his roommates friends to spin it and get their lick back, he was stabbed to death the moment he got in the yard. Long story short the momma fucked up..

The sad thing is there are only 3 races (based on ancestry and general skeletal structure differences) in our singular species, Homo Sapien Sapien:
1. Asian (people descended from ancestors in Asia, including India and Russia). The Indigenous peoples of the Americas belong to this category because they crossed the ancient landbridge to North America from what is now Russia
2. Negroid (the scientific term, so called because of the ancestors' very dark skin pigmentation and wider, tall bone structure; people descended from ancestors in Africa)

Other than this, every distinction we make is ethnicity, not race. And we are all ond species anyway, so who cares about ethnicity or race.

This can be further reduced to one race if you accept the "out of Africa" theory. There wasn't just one or two migrations out of Africa, but multiple migrations that spanned hundreds of thousands of years. We are one race, Human.
The only issue is that the term 'Caucasian' has been incorrectly used to describe white Europeans for three hundred years.
