It’s kind of amazing how well planned this whole thing has been. Very few major changes, and even most of the small details are flowing through exactly like the model (which was built years ago). Great work by Universal.
Disney: “Our next project will be a 5 story atrium with cascading waterfalls and a butterfly sanctuary that should inspire you to soar and dream when you enter. Should open next year.” 5 years later… Disney: “It’s done!” People: “Is this the offices you build before you build the butterfly atrium?” Disney: “This is it. We made some updates so instead of 5 stories it’s 2 with only access to the first floor and we added a photo wall we painted with a butterfly. And instead of waterfalls there’s a water bottle refilll station you can pay to use. But you get the feel.”
I'm so excited for this park, it's going to be gorgeous. Universal is putting so much detail into it and it's much appreciated. It's wild to be able to watch a whole park being built 🤯
I still can't get over the fact that there's a whole land dedicated to horror, makes me hopeful that we could get a dark universe at USH, that grave yard area is so cool.
It’s definitely gonna happen! No way the new government will turn it down when economic growth and building is one of their big things, and even locals are mostly supportive. And Universal seems very committed.
I live in the USA and I’m hyped about Universal over there. They already cleared the land and it’s close to highways and trains. You should check out the other Universal Parks in Asia. Ordinary Adventures has been going to all the Universal and Disney Parks recently. You should check them out.
If Universal Studios Great Britain actually happens and gets completed by 2030, I wonder what will happen to the Woody Woodpecker IP at the Port Aventura theme park in Spain given that Universal used to own that theme park for the European market until they sold the theme park off in 2005 but still let the current owners keep the bird mascot. Now that Universal is planning on coming back to the European market, I wonder what will happen next with the titular bird even though by 2036 the woodpecker himself is on course to going public domain.
I totally get why they would require a multipack package to be able to go to EU at first. It's actually really smart to ensure the other two parks don't get abandoned and the new park is overwhelmed with all guests.
@@caiawren6100 My guess is that annual passholders won't get access to Epic Universe for a long time. Or, the supply of annual passes for Epic Universe will be extremely limited.
I've shared the official announcement & land flyover videos with all the kids in my extended family (ages 6, 8, 10, 13, & 16). All of them are just as excited about this park as I am.
I am ngl dark universe looks the best to me I love weathered things like old buildings they have a charm that I really enjoy it's a nice contrast to the other more colourful lands and looks like it will probably be the most atmospheric particularly during a grey day
For someone who has to fly to Orlando to go to universal, the new ticket package is honestly perfect, all I want is a 2 days normally, and an extra day for EU is perfect.
Same. If I still lived in Orlando, or was a passholder, I would be really annoyed with that being my only option. But now that I'm out of state, it's the most logical option. I still wish they had an option for more than one day at Epic. I'd want at least 2 days to really feel satisfied.
Same! We've started saving up for a Jan 2026 trip so we can spend multiple days at all the parks. Would love to be able to stay at the Grand Helios too.
@@MysTaeryColorfulit doesn’t seem feasible to do the whole park in one day. Honestly each land looks like at least 4-8 hours. We spent about 3 hours at Super Nintendo World in California and that’s smaller with fewer interactive experiences, without Yoshi and Donkey Kong Country, and we didn’t get to eat at Toadstool Cafe. This one looks like a good 8 hours to do every attraction at least once, explore, shop and eat.
Yes but they are likely not going to be offering express pass as an option at first or for a long time. So the lines in Epic will be hours long no matter when you go. There will be no way we can experience all the attractions in Epic Universe in a single day with out express pass and you can't purchase extra days for Epic. You only get one day in that park. I had planned 2 days in Epic 2 days in IOA and 1 day in Universal studios. I'm flying in from out of state too. I hope by the time I go, mid Oct of 25 there will be better options or I'm going to have to cancel.
@@wt7553 Yes and they probably won't offer express pass at first either. Probably not for a long time. With out express there is no way to experience all the attractions in one day. This really bums me out.
Now that property buildings are nearly completed it is noticeable that the majority of the roofs there are light colors to best reflect radiant solar energy back up and not being absorbed into the structures reducing environmental control year round.
The way I follow the updates on this park like my life depends on it makes me proud and worried lol 😅😂 I cannot wait to finally enter these beautiful lands and to find my place in the ‘Epic Universe’ 💛💫🤩
The metal arm? that supports the Donkey Kong minecart is so huge and complex! a testimony to their commitment to make the ride exceptional. The price tag to realize this deception must have been shocking, but they decided to go with it anyway. Hurrah.
I wonder if the Oak & Star Tavern tree motif will have any nods to the Enchanted Oak Tavern that was at Islands of Adventure. That would be pretty cool.
I just think it’s weird that they’re doing 3 WHOLE LANDS for it. Especially since like- idk if this is just me but i feel like the franchise is starting to wane in popularity? Like don’t get me wrong Millennials are a big, profitable market currently in their prime spending years. But the series from what i’ve seen as a younger person, just isn’t hitting with my age group and younger who are quickly gearing up to replace them. But IP aside, (because i think IP isn’t do or die when it comes to making a good themed experience) I think dedicating so much space to one single franchise is kinda lame thematically. Like we’ve already seen the wizarding world brought to life TWICE. imo, it’s just not that interesting to explore that same general aesthetic and feel a third time when we could’ve gotten something else that filled a different thematic niche and possibly brought a franchise previously unrepresented to a theme park.
I kind of hate that Mario is the symbol for Mario land. Like everything else is an icon or sphere, but there's him and I feel like it ruins the vibe. I think they should've chosen a power up or something else. Even his hat.

Only one day allowed in epic universe out of a multi-day tickets??? But I need 2 days in Epic, (because unlike Disney which copies the same ride into other park which I can skip a ride if I have ridden it elsewhere), Epic has all ORIGINAL rides, I am gonna need 2 days to fully enjoy everything!! Can’t they allow a 4 day park ticket with 2 days at Epic?
My thoughts exactly. I have already reserved 2 rooms at Terra Luna and flying in from Cali. I had planned for us 2 days in Epic 2 days in IOA and one day in Universal. 1 day in Epic will not be enough considering how busy its going to be and if they don't even offer Express pass as an option either then we'll be lucky to see half of it. I hope by mid Oct of 25 when our trip is planned they will have better options else I'm probably going to have to cancel and wait for a better time in the future. I was so bummed when I heard this news about the tickets.
Will you be buying an early ticket package, or wait until more ticket types are released later?

No 😔, those lines can be eternal, better wait until crowds disperse a bit.
