I love how green this park is! Park designers underestimate how much shrubbery and trees are needed in the park! It proves shade and also some beautiful scenery.
That Donkey Kong costume looks way better than I was expecting it to! Also, I'm very happy to see Cranky Kong, Dixie Kong, Squawks and Rambi getting their own animatronic figures! 🤩 Great update as always!

I can still remember your earliest videos when ALL OF THIS was just a large dirt field with some of the bigger show buildings staked out. I can't believe they also squeezed in a whole pandemic and are still on schedule!! Maybe we can get the contractors out here to finish up California's higher speed rail when they're done with Epic.
I’m hoping once the popularity dies down a bit, universal can really gut and rework a lot of the original studios park. Imagine all the street sets with this level of imagination and activity.

Being that most of the OG attractions for each area are now gone, I think they could be spiced up with more interactivity, even with homages to the original attractions that used to be there. Hollywood, NY, SF.. all of which have their unique time periods and stories that could be brought to life.
mock shoots using film tech from their respective time periods would be a great way to enhance the experience. walking through studios should feel like walking through live sets

Oh my god the attention to detail towards all of these theme parks is top notch, Epic Universe feels more like a passion project, a love letter to these franchises.
I have no doubt the next new portal added to Epic Universe will be The Land of Oz. And more than likely, UC will reuse the broom riding attraction they had for Harry Potter for Oz.

It is incredibly brave and shows great talent to remove something they likely spent a lot of money and time on, when it doesn’t look right once constructed. Shows great care is going in to every element of this park

it also looks like there was water testing in the mario fountain, also it looks like with the lighting testing on Frankenstein manor, the wires were added a few days later too. I saw people on social media happy the berm near the carousel was demolished we are only just 6 months away from this place opening, 2 from stella nova, and now 4 for terra luna.
Thank goodness they tore down that ugly weird berm they were building, you showed it in a previous video and it was the only thing the park that I thought looked awful… another great video.
if that green berm is replaced by opening, it’s just further proof of how much universal cares about the quality of their product. i was trusting the process on that thing but im sure there’s another way to build it that’s better
What I love about this is a universal lets people fly overhead lets you post all these things so that we can all follow it just makes us all the more excited for the park I can't wait to go I've been following the building and the updates for 2 years... Disney doesn't do this ever ..

Wow, this really is shaping up to be something special. It's insanely expensive to make the trip from my country, but I'm definitely gonna have to one day.
It is the land we are most excited about. We started by reading the first few books (I finished the series but my husband didn't) even though they are middle grade (think 3rd - 6th grades), they are fun books with the boys going out to choose their baby dragons to raise (yes, the author, Cressida Cowell, changed the basic premise for the movies).
My family and I are very excited for this park opening. We have it planned out to visit Orlando from Maine for Halloween 2025. For me, Im most excited for, in order: 1. Dark Universe 2. WWHP: Battle at the Ministry 3. Celestial Park 4. HTTYD: Isle of Berk 5. Super Nintendo World

My already-impressive opinion of Universal Creative just went up several notches with the removal of that ugly foam-block berm. Disney has trained me to expect some areas of eyesore, mediocrity, and disappointment in every project (for example, the very out-of-place murals at Tiana's Bayou Adventure), so I was resigning myself to that boring and bland berm in the middle of Celestial Park. But now that they have demolished it, I know that Epic Universe is in good hands. 😊 Speaking of the finishing touches on the Wizarding World arch, I remember Imagineers still painting walls and railings when I rode Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run as part of a Cast Preview. So I have no doubt they can get all that done before opening day.

Other companies have tried to trademark phrases like that, which are common use phrases, and were denied. So I would be curious to see the result of that.

Honestly, everything about this park seems as well done as it possibly could be…I’m only slightly disappointed that the coasters, even Stardust Racers, are a bit short, though understandably so. Hopefully any potential expansions for HP and Dark Universe add more overall space that’s not necessarily devoted to new rides, as those areas seen a bit small, too. Isle of Berk is *crazy*, though.
Stardust Racers has 5,000ft of track per side...so 10,000ft total. Not sure how much longer you expect it to be. It's nearly a mile long on each side. It's nearly the same length as Hagrid's and longer than VelociCoaster. Hiccups Winged Gliders goes nearly around the entire land of HTTYD.
I'm pretty sure the train won't stop based on the video I saw from bioreconstruct. There was a train on the block already and the next train approached it and was stopped prior to colliding with the train in front and entering the next block zone. I'm guessing their doing block zone testing. the mini swing launch is just to get it back up to speed to continue the ride. A decent example of this in action would be on Voltron at Europa.
This was my assumption as well, but a week later they’re still doing the roll back thing even without trains cascading… so I’m not counting it out. At very least I bet the trains stop and roll through the scene, just probably without the rollback.

Is the Curse of the Werewolf "spinning rollercoaster" going to be similar to Crush's Coaster at Disneyland Paris? Because I can handle a lot when it comes to coasters, and I had to sit down and put my head between my knees when I got off Crush's Coaster 🤣

Some of the best parts about studios is the lack of immersivity-- i hope they don't change a thing

Although I am most excited for Dark Universe, I feel Dragon is going to be the surprise hit of all the lands.
It is the land we are most excited about. I love that a lot of the rides have already been testing for months which means way less chance of issues come opening day
They have to in order to be certified. There are strict guidelines they have to follow to get the ride certified for use...including stress testing.
