This is a good heating system. I actually had my fail! But up until it failed, it was GREAT. The power went out in my house, and it blew the fuse in the controller. I called them it was under warranty and they replaced the elements but not the controller. Now the controller has started to malfunction. Fingers crossed they will replace it under warranty. Very true about the packaging, my first thought was very Apple.
Wow, yeah, these things should NOT be failing for the price. I mean, I’m sure there’s like 1 in 100 that have an issue. Imperfections happen. But I’d have been a little ticked off, given the price.
Love my Helio heater, I’ve had it about a year now. But the flow sensor was bad right out of the box - constantly going off in high flow. I had to mute it almost immediately.
Didn’t even know I could mute it. Haha. I had an issue one time with it. I think that flow sensor is an imperfect addition. Probably better off without it.

Absolutely agree with recommending this. I have it on all 7 tanks, both freshwater and saltwater, as well as my mixing station.
I know it’s expensive, but it’s SO good. It’s ridiculous how much better it is than literally any other heating setup I’ve used.

It makes you look at the other items you buy for your tank and go “wait…why wasn’t it all boxed up like this heating system was…” 😂

Aren’t they phenomenal? I know a lot of reefers would look at us like we’re crazy, given the price….but man, they are just the best of the best.
