    100% agree with the first one. Kashtira is amazing and by far my favorite deck ever; it's simple, unique, powerful, fun, anti-meta while also still being a meta deck itself, able to turn entire games around if you can simply draw into a Unicorn, Arise-Heart is insane, Shangri-Ira is really dangerous if left on the field because it will always win a grind game via its zone locks and bringing out other Kashtira from the deck every turn, which also lets you make an Arise-Heart with just one material. I would definitely reccommend Kashtira to any newer players, it annihilates EVERY meta deck if you go first (because of Arise-Heart) and is also great going second (also because of Arise-Heart) the only flaw with Kashtira for newer players is that Kashtira is full of UR cards, you will need to spend a LOT of UR dust to make a strong Kashtira deck because you should also play 3 Diabellstar to help with consistancy among other expensive staple cards.

    I think I'm probably way too removed from being a beginner since I've been playing the game (badly lol) since it came out, but I think that Swordsoul is probably my pick. Fairly simple line going first so you can conceptualize what your goal is, and going second you have to think through the tenyi's and how they interact with the deck to get it to do what you want. Sky Strikers are also a really good pick to learn the intricacies of the game. Altergheist was the first deck that really brought me back into the game when it first came out but maybe it's a bit outdated by now. Fluffals were really fun to play when I was getting back into it too, and it can put up REALLY crazy boards that you wouldn't expect out of it, but I think the combos are a bit out of the realm of possibility for new players 😅

      since geist got support it's fine still need good game knowledge in general to pilot though. idk about swordsoul though or synchro as a good starting point. xyz is probably the best summoning mechanic to start with imo

    im biased but unchained, although branded and sword soul are good options with swordsoul being the budget option because you can get it for free though the friend code deal, numeron is the literal definitin of a brain dead deck to the point where bots were programed to run it.
    edit: i forgot horus that deck is brain dead too lol its splashable in any deck and 2 to 5 level 8s for no reason is rip for abuse not much skill invoved in the basic horus combo the skill comes from your extra deck choices and how you use them. that said its far from being budget

    I learnt how to play modern yu gi oh with the cyber dark structure deck then overtime changing that into a full cyber dragon strategy, as it was revisiting gx that made me get back into yu gi oh, i wanted to play heroes but needed alot of gems so played cyber dragons until i got all hero cards, good deck very solid can still obliterate meta decks whilst going second!

      @phienex  Месяц назад +1

      hero is pretty crazy expensive(also selection cards and many diff packs). Cydra isn't thaaaat expensive but i can see the generics being kind of expensive... although usable in other decks(tactics, raigeki, etc). Jw on a scale of 1-10 where would you rate cydra for a newer player?

      @@phienex I would say like a 7, easy combo lines, plenty of in acrechtype and machine based fusion spells, easy recycling, everything jus turns into cyber dragon in the grave so it’s easy to remember, pretty much pick the boss monster you need when you need it, 3 cyber dragons can make anything in your extra deck, crazy damage to end the game in one turn (can be done with one monster) , if you resolve clockwork night it’s pretty much gg’s, I’d say it’s a solid starter deck once you figure out how different kind of fusion summons work or a good way to learn how the fusion summons work, but saying that it kinda helps with everything because it shows you easily how to xyz into nova / infinity ♾️, has an in archetype link 2 for extra resources/recycling, contact fusion board clearers, the only problem would be the staple prices and decks that run shifter / d fissure / ariseheart, as them decks can essentially just destroy cyber dragons!. (But can also destroy most decks too?)

      @@iitzbenni hmm i guess the most important thing now that i think about is... can new players figure out the lines on their own or would they need a guide?... so would cyber dragon lines require a guide?... i think in that aspect perhaps some decks could be more beginner friendly... a lot of people might not want to be recced a guide after you give them a deck... truly annoying

      @@phienex I do apologise I did write a reply for your question about cyber dragons and beginner friendly but for whatever reason it’s not there now😂 I think they are very beginner friendly as they have easy combo lines, there searchers search every card they need to, they have in archetype boss monsters & in archetype fusion spell cards from grave and from banished, 3 cyber dragons can pretty much make your entire extra deck, and everything in the grave is labelled cyber dragon, and if you resolve clockwork night it’s pretty much ggs

      @@phienex price wise depends, there alot of expensive variants, but my cost alot less then theirs even considing i used two archotypes, darklord side of the deck i would say no since that a 3 card combo, branded i would say so just need to resolve one of your poly and get your fusion monsters, it does have a learning curve but just knowing the basic can get you through games and you can learn deck as you win with basic combo (beginner will always struggle with something)

      i mean even if a deck is good... it doesn't mean new players will be able to learn/pilot them well. In comparison to tearlament it's not as unga bunga press yellow cards and it'll work out. but i guess in that regard would tearlament be a good way to learn game mechanics?... i guess not :/

    • @jarrellspencer9014
      @jarrellspencer9014 Месяц назад +1

      @phienex you can say that, but snake-eyes is simple and easy to learn. It's literally the updated version of "normal summon alister."

    • @jarrellspencer9014
      @jarrellspencer9014 Месяц назад +1

      @@phienex most decks people recommend are super heavy combo decks. Mastering combos really only happen after you learn the basics. Slower decks like ( in terms of summoning) lab and traptricks are great for learning the basics and developing strategies for future play. Even the no-floodgate eldlitch or sky striker( even though it's one of the decks i hate the most) is great. But if you're gonna call them names anyway, just tell them to play snake-eyes. Can't go wrong with what works, right

    • @phienex
      @phienex  Месяц назад

      @@jarrellspencer9014hmmmm playing snake eyes optimal might be problematic for a new player. just with I:P alone you need to toggle chain on which is something that needs to be taught before combo lines. Also all the snake eye interactions etc. Like actually compare normal summon aleister. Normal aleister add invocation, link off, activate invo, make mechaba, invo add back aleister. This is actually a 5 step combo... normal summon snake eye ash how many steps is that combo?... The more steps the higher the odds of making a mistake. So for an actual new player imo hard to recommend.

    • @phienex
      @phienex  Месяц назад +1

      @@jarrellspencer9014 i mean eh i think those decks are pretty bland but. yea those are a great starting point. Super heavy combo decks are a bad way to start the game. In general a decent way to learn mechanics is important. Tenyi pure ex would be decent. Imo it teaches link summoning well. Issue with lab and traptrix is that they're also kind of combo decks now with a lot of steps -_- . I think it'd have to be eldlich as the most recommendable backrow deck, followed by sky striker, or something like sub terror.
