Since you liked this movie & 'Snatch', check out 'Rock N Rolla'. Also directed by Guy Ritchie, stars Gerald Butler, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Thandie Newton, & Tony Kebbell (who steals every scene he's in)...
@tileux very true.Have you seen revolver with statham and andre 3k? That's about as obscure as rock and rolla is compared to snatch and lock stock but such a good mindfuck
Great reaction Biss like always, love this movie, Guy Ritchie really is at home with this type of film. He's like a British Tarantino with his dialogue. He has a way of making every side character memorable. Among the star-studded cast of this film, Hugh Grant really stands out with his eccentric character and fun performance. Grant filmed his scenes in just five days with 40 pages of dialogue to cover. Grant had made a cheat sheet to help him learn all the lines, but the night before filming, his car was broken into and the cheat sheet was stolen. One of the more entertaining aspects of the film is the framing of Fletcher's movie pitch to Ray. Fletcher lays out the plot of the movie as if it is a movie he is writing himself. And a fun-fact at the end of the film, Fletcher is seen meeting with a movie executive and pitching the same movie. He presents the script which is title "Bush." That happens to be one of the working titles for this film. Also, behind Fletcher is a poster for The Man from U.N.C.L.E. which Ritchie also directed. And you should watch The Man from U.N.C.L.E. its very good another Guy Ritchie movie. Keep up with the good work.
Yeah, the only thing I truly liked from the King Arthur movie he made, was the dialogue, lol! There were a few other fun moments, but the dialogue was the highlight, for me.
You’ll love The Gentlemen show on Netflix if you liked this. It’s fantastic. Set in the same universe and still Guy Ritchie. I’d even argue that it’s better than the movie (which I love) in many ways.
I thought it was like a bit of different universe because they don't really talk about the movie at all and reference themselves as the best and the biggest many times. Amazing show though.
Really? I couldn't get beyond episode 4 due to the terrible writing - the weed boss (who has her own security team) lets her pet botanist, who loves getting high on his own supply, make deliveries on his own, always using the same route, leading to obvious results...that was so weak & predictable, a very lazy script.
@@MrHaleI think it’s the same universe. My theory is that the series happens a number of years after the events of the movie. The weed boss’ father is the one that purchased mcconaughey’s weed empire. It’s an ok series. I believe the movie is still superior though. Kinda stopped watching it cuz i felt like the main dude just lets everyone walk all over him. Tolerable at first but just felt cringey and too much later on.
Whassup Biss! I love your movie reactions. They’re edited well, you’re smart, you’re funny, you’re cute as a button and I feel like you’re improving with each video I watch. Keep up the great work! “He Phuuk-ed himself!”😂😂 That was funny!😂😂😂
Guy Ritchie has delivered a first-class action comedy with “The Gentlemen”. Everything is just perfect here: script, editing, dialog, camera. And the actors deliver top performances. The 115 minutes of the movie fly by. Awesome reaction.
Phu-hucking brilliant! Sometimes Guy Ritchie strikes gold, and he sure did with this one as well as with Snatch (thanks for that one), his two Sherlock Holmes movies and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (his breakthrough). Thanks, lovely Biss! It’s ALWAYS a pleasure… 🥂
Great reaction biss I watched the movie yesterday and I was blown. Away with it. The premise in the cinematography. The actors and the acting. Was superlative. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie❤😊 ps paridise wouldn't be as buitiful without you biss
Like you, I laugh at my own jokes and and quite capable of entertaining myself with the things bouncing around in my mind. Insane??? ummm maybe..but it's rarely a dull moment. I can find some sort of hilarity or absurdity in most any moment.....it's like life is just a movie. Love your reactions !
some movies that have similar humor are "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" but a lesser known film is these two "The Boondock Saints" and the sequel 10 years later "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day" it's been many years since I saw them but I remember them being good and I think you'll like them
If you are loving Guy Ritchie films then you need to do his latest which is “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” .. same humour, good cast, based loosely on a true WW2 story.. you will love it
@@Talisman09 You're the frist one I've heard who doesn't like his performance in the film. I think he's great in the role, unlike in The Fall Guy where he's doesn't get to act in the same range.
Like the others said, need to check out " 'Rock N Rolla'" and A must watch is "layer Cake" although not a Guy Ritchie film, however he was a huge part of it and they even used his apartment in the filming of it. I can not stress enough how great these movies are. Took 3 or 4 times to fall in love with "Rock N Rolla' but "layer Cake" became one of my favorite all time movies just after 1st watch. Even the books are great. According to an article by GQ, many of the anecdotes and short stories within the larger story of “Layer Cake” were true and recounted verbatim.
Miss B, I've watched a number of your movie reactions recently and have to say I really enjoy them. They're a wonderful blend of funny, serious, and girly. That said, I'm ready for you to do another Rush review. You have not done one in a long time after saying you need to do more of them. Try Xanadu (live from Exit Stage Left).
8. 8/10 Guy's Best Since Snatch. It's Guy Ritchies Best since Snatch, it's where he is most playful and comfortable in a film genre he knows well. The Cast is perfectly picked, especially Hugh Grant giving a different but yet so funny performance. Sit back and enjoy 2 hours of a British crime drama, which doesn't take itself too serious If we hadn't had lock stock or snatch then this would possibly looked at in a more classic Ritchie film so don't expect it to be as great as those.
BissCute, Squalor is a word that means filth. Usually, squalor is a word that is used when one wants to describe a filthy indoor space, rather than a filthy person or filthy single object.
Squalor, means general filth. The whole place covered in empty pizza boxes and vomit etc. Fletcher is my favorite. Gives everyone one chance to realize the situation they are in and take the easy way out.
I loved this movie too. Guy Ritchie did a TV show too about this very subjects......I loved the TV show too which is different but the same kind of. . ..Give it a look-see...... And I Love your "Eye-for-an-Eye" Romanian in you....fun to watch .....Those PRRRRRICKS😂😂😂😂
You are the first reactor that I know of that has had the good taste to watch this movie. I agree, such a good movie and Coach is such a great character, "But you are black, and you are a c---". I would like to recommend another recent movie that I think you'll like, but not in the same way you like this one called "Medieval". You may know the story because it is historic in your area of the world though not exactly yours, a neighbor of yours. I think you will like it based on your music taste, because I know you liked, "Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisley.
The fact you mentioned Snatch is dead on....since both were directed by Guy Ritchie. Both Excellent Movies as is Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and the Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Jr. Layer Cake is along the same vein but not directed by Guy Ritchie.
