    I'm glad he mentioned relocating the turn signals at the end of his video, I waited for that all the way thru. They're seriously obscured by the racks themselves, and will completely vanish when any bags are added.

    Great videos.
    No wasted boring time undoing bolts etc.
    Good editing.
    Excellent commentary.
    Even I can follow instructions!
    Sequence of fitting, do's and don'ts.

    I'm going for my bike license soon and these videos have been really good as I want to purchase a himalayan. Also it's good to see other states have taken on a bit of SA pride :D

      Good luck with your bike license mate, you'll really enjoy riding. Have a lot of Himalayans been selling in SA? I lived in Adelaide for about 10 years.

    Great video! I particularly like the minute details along with clear video that you include. Just a query - could you upload a short video or a picture of Himalayan with the pannier racks & the modified saddle bags, to see how much does the whole thing obscure the rear indicators - Thanks a lot!

    Hi Stuart, thank you for doing this set of videos. I am really looking forward to see what you come up regarding those saddle bags. (I'm eyeing the same bag for my Himalayan). Having the center piece go under the seat sounds neat. Did you try it?
    With those bags in the stay, are you happy with the rear indicators' visibility at night?

    • @DangarMotorcycling
      @DangarMotorcycling  7 лет назад

      I'm definitely going to run the straps under the seat. I'm hoping to have the bags modified very soon with a video to go with them.

    Hello sir, you might be interested in checking this brand out. Here in India, almost every motorcyclist uses Viaterra products . PS : I dont work for them !
    I happen to have used their 'claw' saddle bag for my Himalyan trip plus many other rides. The bag still seems like it can last longer. I even had a crash with that bag on . Only the rain cover tore off...the bag remained intact . Hope thus helps.

    • @DangarMotorcycling

      Hi Akhilesh. I to have investigated the great range of Viaterra products available but shipping to Australia is extremely expensive for some unknown reason. I was quoted $80 shipping for a claw saddle bag. I think Viaterra will need to reassess its international shipping options.

    Those panniers racks look pretty good. Getting my Himalayan on Friday and considering these panniers racks. How do you find then now after a year of use? Holding up OK?

    • @DangarMotorcycling
      @DangarMotorcycling  6 лет назад

      The bags are still fine, although I only put the on for big trips and required carrying camping gear, for day-to-day riding I just use top box. Donowyn's rack has been awesome. Highly recommended!

    • @DangarMotorcycling

      The panniers are actually made for the Bullets more than the Himalayan. I had to modify them to fit this bike. They are made by Royal Enfield so should be available at any dealer.
