I went to a private music party yesterday evening/ night in a village half an hour from ours.
I was excited!
It was amazing: i ate all little snacks,( 13 years of severe ibs), I danced a bit, was in loud music for hours on end, made lovely connections despite the noise,and felt good..
My husband hasn’t seen me this way since we’re together ( 16 years ago)❤
So went home, had some sensations, but managed to stay calm.. in the early morning hours I always flare.. headaches/ severe all body pains 10/10 but it was the same as usual so i accepted and now back on my feet again for a new day..
For me ,it’s my brain reacting to increased activity that’s happening.. I know overtime those crisis will get more spread ( not every day/ night), go down quicker and eventually fade away..
My tip of today , like Ellie suggested would be:
Change your what if’s for so what’s and know you can handle the severity of the pain, due to your experience with them..

My tip for the day would be:
Whenever you have a really intense day and are struggling - just say to yourself:
"Just for today....." ❤
This helps break down everything you're experiencing into small bite sized chunks - so you don't have to feel totally overwhelmed that it will never end or you will never be free of whatever you are going through...
Because "just for today"...
You can cope... You are strong... You will get through this... It's all OK... ❤
Beautiful! I don’t make it today.. sometimes pain/ symptoms can shift within a couple of hours.. so for me it’s: wait and see how much It can settle in this day..❤

@@EllieJ-kd6dlmy tip would be to find a sensation you enjoy to co exist with the challenging one. For me it is stroking my dog. This calms and soothes me and takes the focus off my pain.

My pain has been high the last three weeks. Unfortunately some situations are difficult to stay calm in but I am aware of what is causing the increase in pain. My younger sister died about two weeks ago; three days after my 70th birthday.
Then, a week later her husband ended up in the hospital with an infection from a toe amputation in his foot and was in the hospital for about five days. Even though the pain was difficult, I was able to stay calm enough to be there for my sister's husband and other family members during this very sad and difficult time.

I'm dropping symptoms fast, my brain is almost lost, and looking for something to fill this space, I just need to step forward into a new pain free existence, it's so weird after 9 years of symptoms.... 😮 I continue to nurture myself..... But what if like me atm you don't know where your heading to?

Yes my symptoms have been high and increasing and more symptoms added. I feel like I am not making any progress or headway. The brain is perceiving danger - I don't have any doubts about what it is at all - I am 110 sure percent for a year now that it is TMS but yet here I am a year later with hurtful symptoms - I' m not freaking out - I'm just miserable. Long term unemployment and isolation is freaking me out - that perception of danger is high in regard to that.
I appreciate your calm reassurance. Today in church I started thinking about my recovery statement/story; even though I’m not quite there yet. I know I will get there, and thank you for your knowledge. Oh, love the pics of your lake.

Sometimes when you get swamped unexpectedly with sensations it can be difficult to get back on track immediately. Amygdala hijack🙄. I know I need to keep the Safe messages to myself first and foremost. Rewrite those neural pathways.

Happy Birthday Dan, I am a new follower and so appreciate you. I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and believe it is TMS. I am following your teaching and saw immediately how quicker my symptoms change or stop.
I am doing DNRS and many other modalities.

Dear Dan thank you for your guidance, I cannot express how much it means to humans. I would like to ask you how to create the sensation of safety within the body. The safety can be learned through a resonance from other peoples presence, but how to teach the body the safety which is unknown within? Thank You.
I'm not of the belief we are teaching the body safety. I focus on convincing the brain we are safe. When the brain feels safe, it will turn off pain or symptoms in the body. My fast start playlist explains it all. DansFastStart.com

Dan, could it also be a spike in symptoms before a breakthrough? For example, you have been doing good in recovery and your brain sends spikes in symptoms to find out how you respond to them?
We don't have to look for logic behind them or motivations of the brain. Simply put, increase in symptoms means an increase in the perception of danger. The brain is not testing us.
Staying in doors too dam hot out there.
Hey, Dan~ Could you please tackle skin issues like eczema, psoriasis, and lichens? These are very physical conditions with very concerning signs and symptoms. But they, too, are linked to high stress levels. How do we take the TMS approach to get rid of these conditions deemed "incurable?"
Why is it when I get up in morning my symptoms are high. Is it more cortisol? I don’t panic but it’s so uncomfortable and shit

@@clairebaker2314 The brain perceives danger. That can either be something conscious or subconscious. Jump right to safety. It is natural that the brain expects days to be more painful. This is nothing YOU are doing or doing wrong.
Do symptoms have anything to do with over breathing or not breathing enough due to fear? Which is it?
Symptoms are not caused by over or under breathing. The FEAR or brains perception of danger may cause the breathing discrepancies. The breathing is a symptom, not the cause of whatever other symptoms you have. Focus on safety. The fast start playlist explains. DansFastStart.com
Any advice on how to help a 13 yr old girl get through this? I feel like I've almost made it worse trying to explain this to her...😢 overwhelmed her. She is so negative and fearful, and anxious. If anyone has any advice...
