The main point of the commander section was to sort of elaborate many conquerors that everyone immediately put on a duelist / warrior pedestal. So when someone says, "This guy should've been put in the conquerors section." or "This guy was a great commander too!" that sort of illustrates that it wasn't that important to do so, because that is more of a debunk / honorable mentions category for many common picks. There are a lot of people in history with a lot of hype that we looked into to see if they were even worth mentioning because the video has a limited amount of time we can put into it, so we just focused on the guys we knew were the most imposing empirically. Hope that makes sense, have a great day.

Apparently he was so massive that in order to keep up with his thirst and appetite, and entire squad of servants was assigned to him exclusively during banquets. He used to fight using to helberds weighting about 20kg each and he once lost his weapons so he grabbed an enemy soldier and started swinging the bastard around as a weapon. During his last battle, he covered for his lord Cao Cao retreat during an ambush. He by himself held the bridge against countless enemies long enough to allow his lord to escape. Even after they eventually took him down, the enemy soldiers were so scared that they didn't dare to approach him, even if he was dead. One of Samson's most impressive feats that the Bible almost casually mentions: His enemies were laying in wait to capture him after he'd had a night of boning a Philistine woman (literally sleeping with the enemy). The gate to the city was locked. Samson, unperturbed, RIPS THE GATE OUT OF THE GROUND, and carries it several miles back home. Understandably, the men waiting to ambush him decided in favor of the better part of valor that day.

Worth mentioning, Khalid al-Walid fought against the Sassanids and Byzantines after those two forces were depleted by decades of devastating war against one another. The best warriors of both armies were likely dead at that point, and forces were also likely using battered equipment that could not afford to be replaced anytime soon. This goes a long way in explaining how Khalid was able to win the Battle of Yarmuk where he was outnumbered and breaking combatant equipment. That said, his feats are still incredible, and his reputation as one of history's greatest commanders up there with the Mongol's Sabutai, Napoleon and Alexander is still well deserved.

The Rashidun Caliphate had just emerged from the Ridda Wars, a series of internal conflicts, during which many of its best warriors had perished as well. In fact, so many of the Prophet’s companions who had memorized the Quran were killed that Caliph Abu Bakr had to commission the compilation of the Quran to preserve it. Additionally, Abu Bakr banned tribes that had previously apostatized from joining the wars, a restriction that remained in place until the later period of Umar's rule.
So from the perspective of the Rashidun Caliphate, they were just a few weakened Arab Bedouin tribes confronting the two strongest empires of the time, the Byzantines and Persians combined, who had allied against them. Despite this, the Muslim forces achieved remarkable success: the Persian Empire ceased to exist, and much of Roman territory was taken. The expansion didn’t stop there-the Arabs continued their campaigns, reaching southern Paris in the west and China in the east, all within a single generation of the Sahaba (the Prophet's companions).

It is sad to see that Diego Garcia de Paredes, nicknamed Spanish Hercules and Extremaduran Samson, isnt on this list. He is a top contender here. It is to be expected since there is almost nothing in english about him. I Know of him by accident from a Quora answer and the only other english source is a Tv Tropes page. For everything else i had to translate Spanish to English.
He fought in 30 battled of all kinds and He won 300 duels to the death in his lifetime. He was 2,06meters tall and he is repeatedly noted for his borderline superhuman Strength. He killed by himself 500 Frenchman on a bridge while being almost uninjured. He led 11 spanish knights in a challenge against 11 french knights led by Pierre Terrail de Bayard, who could also be a contender on this list since he stalled 200 Spaniards at a bridge by himself. The Spaniards however gave the French a thorough thrashing. The judges proposed to end the contest in a draw but Diego Garcia refused, having broken his lance and his sword he started pelting the french with heavy boundary stones making Pierre Terrail and the french knights fled. The French called him the Great Devil. When attacking a Turkish Stronghold, he was brought in by the Turks via a Crane who picked off soldiers one by one this way. Diego however while inside repelled the castles garrison for 3 days killing many of them before being taken captive due to exhaustion and hunger. He broke out of his chains and cell and killed the turks from the inside again when he heard the Spaniards assaulting the walls again, helping take the castle. It was claimed that he killed more people in that battle then the rest of the army put together. He was Hired by Emperor Maximilian as maestre de campo. He was Bodygurd for Emperor Charles 5 and for a time for Pope Alexander VI. He fought against multiple opponents at once and there is more but these are his most impressive displays.

The Average soldiers were heavily armored, a fact that was closing the gap between Samurai and normal soldiers. Samurai were primarily mounted warriors who specialized in ranged combat, unlike many of the European Countries.
During William’s time, the armor was no where near as good as 15th century armor, the very armor which the Japanese were starting to adapt from the Europeans, though that wouldn’t have been an issue during Miyamotos duels.

He was 19 when they started and they both knew each for a while. This relationship wasn't "out of the blue". His friend was pissed at him for something else and in his anger threw Sett under the bus by bringing up his relationship that happened years ago. Both Sett and his friend made up and apologized for hurting each other and now they continue making content together. It was a shitty moment between two friends and nothing else. They never had sex, Sett never initiated anything, barely even hung out with the chick and eventually they just grew apart and they both moved on. Literally nothing happened. You want "proof" go watch the video its like over 2 hrs long. If you dont like nuance then sure condemn every highschool relationship ever. There's literally a law known as Romeo and Juliet clause that addresses these highschool relationship naunce. These short term romances happen all the time and everyone grows up and the relationship doesn't go anywhere. Its so dumb that people listen to twitter instead of watching the damn video. In their defence the video is cringey and messy, both guys are very upset and they end up squashing the beef off camera so you dont even get to see them shake hands. Somebody I would've liked to see on this list was king Kamehameha who in his day was a war general as a teen, stood at 7,1, conquered and united the island of Hawaii, and him with his men faced a british force that was armed with guns and they won that battle with 9 daggers and clubs. It was also believed that he had lifted a giant boulder called the naha stone

@@Andre-c6zwhile impressive, Diego García de Paredes' record is neither as lengthy nor as respectable (i.e. lack of crime.) off of dueling alone, Sir William Marshal clears, not to mention participation in crusades and tournaments as well as wars between the French and Anglo-Norman monarchs of the time... To top it off, Sir William's feats are well-documented fact, as opposed to embellished folklore.

Being better at fighting other animals than other people, and vice versa are real phenomenon that are in no way surprising than some people being better at running than jumping. There's some overlap in skillset, but only some.

Sempronius Densus was a centurion in the Praetorian Guard and is remembered by history for his courage and loyalty in singlehandedly defending his charge from scores of armed assassins, while all his comrades deserted or switched sides. Could have been a honorable mention.

I completely disagree. He can stick to his routes and do this too. He does anime, manga, and entertainment content really well, it’s entertaining when he mixes it up with “How Smart is Light Yagami” as well. Seth is really good at keeping a core theme in his content while making it entertaining with diversity.

@@RylonEdits i just think the real world is more interesting than discussing fictional debates of what big number will win over another big number. I really enjoyed his video on bears vs gorillas and I want to see more stuff like that and this video.
he also had a ton of drama in the "power-scaling community" and branching out to other content will help him escape that toxicity (eg. how kraut switched from being a political youtuber to a polandball history channel).

The reason khalid was demoted by omar ibn alkhatab is a question of islamic doctrine ( aquida). for some people to not wrongly say he was the victory maker and for people not to be facsinated by him basically people back then were very relegious no true muslim would think of him as a god wich would be disbeliefe of islam or have a better legacy then muhammed wich would be disbeliefe of islam. it was just for people to not faulter and think he was the one that made victory not allah because allah (god) is the one that decides what happens and how to test his slaves and even then it was just precaution omar didnt know if that would happen maybe allah made him do it because he knows best.
