If you are going to shoot holes into your strips with staples, hand-rub them on a sharpening stone to hone them sharp a row at a time without breaking the row. the sharp one slide between wood fibers without tearing and may be closed with heat and moisture after careful removing
Thanks! I wish I knew this in advance. I decided to not use staple though, I thought it would have been too difficult to hide the holes. As you'll see in the next few videos I went with clamping and tape which seemed to have worked out well. Thanks for watching!
I also prefer building without staples As only 50 percent of the holes are invisible to the eye after swelling shut still it much better and the ones left as so closed its worth it to the men that do tattoo their boats .
