This is one of the best looking MR2's we've seen, fitted with a custom factory sheet metal widebody to fit a monster wheel/tire it looks menacing... and it has the power to weight ratio to back it up! “Real simple set up, stock sleeves!” Has fully built motor... rods, pistons, springs, retainers, cams. Dual injectors... widened the rear end of the car.
that is considered a simple setup. it is pretty basic compared to lots of things. this car can be built in a car tent.

Natalia Kruschev Yes it does dumb ass 😂 hence “fully built”. You don’t work on cars much do you? The term fully built actually has a meaning. Once you have completely taken advantage of the platform then it’s fully built, that means sleeved and/or stroked. Upgrading the internal parts isn’t fully built.
Super simple set up we have the car running on a helicopter engine that we converted to run on plasma jellybeans...

To answer your question the guy in the video said people are going to think it’s staged. I’m not sure what’s staged about lining up with a stock viper it’s florida supercars are all over the place. There’s a video of a 3/4 ton duramax smoking a new viper in south Florida and you actually get to see the car beside him when he’s racing the guy. It’s a shame he didn’t run into that duramax instead of the viper shit would of got ugly fast

How much does the K20 weigh, though?
I traded in my MR2 for an Ultima GTR: too little space for BIG tires in MR2, barely fits V6, less trunk space than Ultima's (after you fit a V6 + intercooler...), etc: If Toyota did a N/A V6 to start with, plus bigger wheelwells & a transaxle w/o dog-gears rated for HP of a V6-turbo,, maybe I'd have kept it... swapping the tranny, bigger brakes, PLUS everything else = more work+money than I'd put into such a slow car...with pop-up headlights that fail, rofl, that's so 1980's.

Real simple bolt on motor...PPG gearbox, 8 injectors, fully built engine...simple.
Sergio Aguirre I know this is not a 1000+ hp build but with new rods and pistons and a tuned hi output turbo to the common person out there it is a rebuilt (and upgraded) motor. Maybe there should be classes to K-series builds like Stage 1, Stage 2, ...3..4...?

@@Cheeseypoofs85 still speaking bs lol, the only car they have used for the Chinese turbo recently is the hatch, all other cars are using k tuned parts and other name brand parts, again it seems like you're salty and only watched one video off their youtube channel, and the Chinese turbo never blew up the hatch, the old injector wiring did causing no fuel to be injected in the chamber ( the hondaru used the chinese turbo until Emilio was done with the engine he was borrowing and that engine didnt blow up either)

Wouldn't you know, TRC "randomly" encounters another SuperCar for the 24th time in one of their videos. Still a cool car, I'm just to the point I don't believe half the shit they say or portray....I'm just here for the cars. Check out some of their older videos where they come across the same car "randomly" multiple times. Or That Dude In Blues video where he features one of the "random" cars from TRC video and even says "Thanks to TRC for letting me review the car"....So much for "Randomly" coming across a supercar. It doesn't count when the car IS YOURS AND IS STAGED!! This Viper may have not have been staged this time, but I've called them out at least (3) times where for a FACT they staged the shit and called it "random" LMFAO

I've watched several of your videos like this and I have to say this is one of my favorite vehicles I've seen. I'm a mopar guy and am seriously thinking about building something honda powered in the future. Keep bringing the great videos
I'm building 2 k swapped fieros right now. One is a turbocharged TSX k24 and the other is an NA K20. High powered, mid engine = loads of fun. I was looking into the quaife sequential 6speed dog box for my k24 swap. They were introduced at the 2017 PRI show with a retail of $6k, I have yet to find one.
Anyway, great build! Love it.

@@Duhrail oh man, I wish I would of seen that. I was speaking to the guys at Speed Academy about the trans. It was their PRI video that got my interested in the quaife box. It seems like only shops in the UK are selling them and it's like 8k British sterling.

I saw a Bugatti on the highway once when I was in my Jeep. Got ya beat there! Also saw a pair of F16s at an airport last summer. Encounters are great, but we all wanted a race...

Depends on how your using it. The viper may not step out as quick in a straight line, but I can guarantee you it's more predictable in a turn, and it probably uses a quarter of the gas to be just as quick, how could you go wrong?
