Not sure I agree about the silhouette. I wouldn't call either this or the F1 attractive. But that engine...holy mother of god. The road car T50 sounds quite polite to my ears, not very raw at all; it almost sounds like a siren in the way it slowly builds. This is absolutely savage and completely different.

@@lazrhawk IMO it's less about the wing and more about the different rear body panels. The road car looks tall and heavy-set at the back, which jars with all the low, flowing curves of the rest of it. The S wraps around the fan and taillights in a way that's much better tied together with the rest of the design.

This was the show-stealer. Nothing else at Goodwood (that I’ve seen) came close in terms of the pure energy and aggression of this thing. Everything from the styling to the engine noise to the performance is totally uncompromising. I just hope that in the years to come, we will be able to see these things being driven hard on tracks and circuits etc.

man, it's been 10 years since F1 went v6 and people are still salty about it? I mean i miss the V10 and V8's just as much as the other guy, even nowadays a lot of cars sound better than them, but 10 years of the same ol sentence is getting a little old, isn't it?
@@valastheman5128 Cosworth made Ferraris V12s obsolete for 20 years from the 60s to the 80s. Cosworth were THE only engine to have until the Turbos started dominating. And then there are the BD 4 cylinder engines which dominated rallying from the 60s to the final version in the RS200 in 86. These engines were making 200hp naturally aspirated in 1970 rising to 750 hp when turbo charged in the RS200evo. And then there was the YB series which the sierra and escort cosworths had. These were all mass produced (relatively) cheap engines that were far beyond anything else of their times. BD still dominate historic RWD rallying.
