I don't know I you figured it out already. She took out cash from some envelopes and replaced it with prop money so the end amount will always be larger than what she started with. Hope that helps.

I like the concept but feel like you could be making even more by putting it into a high yield savings at the very least and getting $250 extra- have the flexibility to transfer or withdrawal , I don’t touch any of my money in my savings account unless necessary. And what would happen if someone broke into your house and stole all of it or something like a fire… at least having it with an FDIC bank you are typically good for $250k

I have heard some ppl say seeing the physical bills makes you more aware of how much you spend, especially if you have a problem with overspending.
