I’m a small business owner to . Curious will you un -stuff your taxes since you paid estimated already or do you keep the prop money to see how much you’ve paid throughout the year 🤔 or by “paying” your taxes does it mean move into the bank?

Okay, so I have been wanting to start my this type of savings/budgeting for a while- i'm terrible at saving but I have had 1 question nagging at me.... if you are depositing all that into the bank, doesn't that give u access to the money via debit which will encourage you to go back to old ways? I would hate to see all that money in my account and go on a "tax-return" shopping spree. That would defeat the purpose and make me not want to start this... please help?!
Kristin is do resolute. Hopefully she can reassure you.
You can move it into a high yield savings account that doesn’t have access to a debit card. There’s many out there I use Marcus by Goldman Sachs. It takes a day or so to transfer out and then you won’t be able to see the amount you have in your account without logging into another platform there’s decreasing the likely hood of you spending the money.
Yeah I put my money in savings accounts that aren’t linked to cards. Some of this journey is unlearning unhealthy spending habits too so for a time I literally hid my debt card from myself and didn’t let myself use it and forced myself to only use cash. Unlearning those habits and being disciplined with your money is key for long term success

You dont have to keep your business money in a separate account from your personal? Because I noticed you didnt keep track, on camera anyway, of your business binder condensing in a separate pile, when you switched money out for prop money. You put it all in the same account?
