I met a young guy at the infusion center st the hospital. Very young, handsome man. He had been battling for along time. My heart remembers from this song....I just want to say...I love you all!!!
This man was one of my favorites back in the 90s. In 2017 he was one of my heros and had the songs that hit where it counted at the time. I found out my Dad was sick with the same cancer after he’d cared for my Grandma and Mother until they went and met our Lord in 2016. We were all so lost. Thank you Wade, for your strength and courage to be so out spoken on this issue. It led our family to be so aware and not embarrassed when my father was diagnosed . I was so grateful to see him and shake his hand at the Lake of the Ozarks at a show a few weeks ago. He was as kind and courteous as I also knew he was. 😊. I hope he stays well so I can bring my Dad to his next show..
I went to school with wayne and to his family his dad Don hayes what the inspiration for me in it wade waiver to be a good night good man i am sorry for the loss of your father wade and what you went through with your cancer eBay design that's good i love you music you're a hell of a singer your dad would be proud of you and mom i know i am you probably don't know me but that's cool my name is dwayne gravit

Christian Hymns, Blues , I mean the old Blues and Wade Hayes!!! Toss Tin Man you"re right. Country is very authentic. The new kids coming on the scenes have a pretty powerful message too they just put more pop and junk into it that makes it only relatable to the NOW crowd. But there is hope as most of them were influenced by this generation of music makers and it has been said that we usually come full circle , so I hope their music grows with them. What did the adults think of Hank Jr. when he was young and belting out tunes. lol There are few songs or rather musicians that hit that ( vulnerable) spot for me. He makes me cry, always has. And this new album is no different . His voice is just as clear and recognizable now as when he was younger and his still infuses his music with such strong emotion that you can't help but be taken where ever his story leads you for the 3 or 4 minutes of his story. I'm a fellow Okie and was so proud of him And Brian both. Oklahoma is a hard state to grow up, in , in many ways. The agriculture, the borderline poverty, the single adult families. The drought, and lack of jobs. You can hear his experience ,his faith and reverence for God in his music. I pray that he stays cancer free and makes a colossal comeback. For him to do that we need to play our part and get the word out. Call our music stations, whether online or a phone call and ask for his new music. Pass his music around on every social media platform that we can. Support him, support him, support him and pray. He is a very spiritual person and has a message to share. I want to see that infectious smile that he had back when he was full of life with a little dose of the Ornery side he had. Thank you for reading this , if you got this far.
I've looked at you as a role model and Reba mcentire.I lost my father to a heart attack in 1995 and my first love, the song THE Room reminds me of my first love.all your songs have a meaning to me.And its hard when you bury two people in your life and now,im turning 40years old on May 8,2014 all alone.
Love this song. Every time I come across someone with colon cancer I tell them to listen not to just the songs but also where Wade Hayes talks about his fight. I myself am a caregiver to my boyfriend of almost 11 years who has stage 3 colon cancer. Yes he has been NED but still has testing every 6 months for the rest of his life. Thanks Wade for sharing your story
Beautiful song. So happy you are a survivor of this horrible disease. I wish you continued healing. I pray everyday for people to this disease has hurt and it comes home. I lost my husband at a not old age from surgery over cancer. This stuff is real and I sure do pray there wl be a cure for it and no one will ever have to face this. Thanks for the great music. God bless.
Wade Hayes didn't get the recognition he deserved if the people that listen to country we're actually country he would have and not change country music to pop
A good ole boy like you does not deserve what you been through my man. Hope it's all behind you now. Now lets get some traditional sounding country like you used to do outta ya. Lead the charge, bring it on back.
Wade, not only have your music and your songs had an impact on my life in general. But also having been a victim, and a survivor of lung cancer as well. I totally felt every emotion in " Is it already Time" when I first heard it. And then I heard " Go live your Life" after I had already come to that same conclusion on my own. I also was raised in and around country music, and bands with my dad and have been an amateur weekend singer for many years. I hadn't realized until recently how many great songs that you have written, produced and sung. But I have changed my course in my singing opportunities to include as many of your songs as possible. Thank you for your dedication to your craft, and keep up the good work.
Jeremy Renfro REAL country as opposed to what?? ANYTHING out of ANYBODY'S mouth on ANY fm country station is REAL country until they come out with a FAKE country which will NEVER happen
It's a miracle Wade Hayes is still alive today and beat the odds against cancer. I honestly did not think he was going to make it when I found out the news in 2011. So glad Wade is still with us. Wish Toby Keith was still here was as well. I met them both back in the mid 90's and had awesome experiences meeting Toby and Wade.
Sad is the reason for righting the song , but what a beautiful song it is . Wade Hayes is among the best we have , as singer song righter and guitar picker . How many people would have sit down and written a song like this at a time like this . Super great jog and thing to do at a time like this . Gotta love Wade and I pray the best for him . Thanks MRMNashful .

Beautiful song I can really relate to it I'm also fighting a terminal disease but not lucky enough to be able to have access to all the medical care that wade has. He's a lucky man.
This song hits home for me in so many ways. I have been a fan of Wade's since Jan. 1995, and have seen him and met him many times over the years. He is such a genuinely nice person. It breaks my heart that he is going through this. It also makes me think of my brother Jim. I wish he they would have caught his early enough for him to get treatment. I can't believe it's been almost 5 years since he left us. Get checked out people. This isn't just an old peoples disease!
Thanks Wade I felt the same way when I was diagnosed with stage 4 throat and neck cancer on Sept 24th 2012. I felt like this song was written for me. I just had my 6 month scan and my cancer is clear but they found a mass on my left lung. I pray I will beat this the same way I beat the throat cancer. I'm glad to see Wade is doing good.
It is really a beautiful song..I was really touch and make me realized that no matter what God is always there for us..nothing is impossible if we really trust in HIM..

Man, this hits home so hard. I was told about my mom's Stage 4 Colon Cancer diagnosis a month after this was published. I lost her just a few months later in June. Congrats on winning your battle against this awful disease! And thank you for writing such a heartfelt, good ol' country song about it.

This song hits home for me, my 29 year old son had a stem cell & platelet transplant 3 years ago in June 2012. He is doing great so far gets checked every few mths from the stem cell team. I am so happy that you are cancer free now. I can relate to "Come back Thurs", always seems to long to wait for results when you are going through what you and my son went through. I seen you a number of years ago at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival and have your autograph plus some pics. You are an awesome singer.
I love this song.... I can say is I thank God for keeping his hand on when I went thru cancer. I know will keep his hand on you also. God bless you and thank you for songs......

My mom went through treatment for stage 2 colon cancer. She almost didn't make it through surgery. Every time I hear this song, it brings a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye. She made it through everything fine, but at the time, I was asking, is it already time?

Christian Hymns, Blues , I mean the old Blues and Wade Hayes!!! Toss Tin Man you"re right. Country is very authentic.
The new kids coming on the scenes have a pretty powerful message too they just put more pop and junk into it that makes it only relatable to the NOW crowd. But there is hope as most of them were influenced by this generation of music makers and it has been said that we usually come full circle , so I hope their music grows with them. What did the adults think of Hank Jr. when he was young and belting out tunes. lol
There are few songs or rather musicians that hit that ( vulnerable) spot for me.
And still a bucket load of that Country and Western music that goes all the way down to his boots from the tip of his hat. I want to see that infectious smile that he had back when he was full of life with a little dose of the Ornery side he had.
Thank you for reading this , if you got this far.

A beautiful song. Hits real close to home. So glad I got to meet you December 10th 2014. I will never forget you. Thank you for proving miracles do happen. Hope to see you again. The hardest part is the waiting for the answer.
Cool son Wade. You are awesome
love the song it came straight from his heart and soul
Man, this hits home so hard. I was told about my mom's Stage 4 Colon Cancer diagnosis a month after this was published. I lost her just a few months later in June. Congrats on winning your battle against this awful disease! And thank you for writing such a heartfelt, good ol' country song about it.
This song means a lot too me being that I lost family members to cancer it really hits home thank you wade for writing such a beautiful and uplifting song
Greetings and prayers from all your peeps back home here in Oklahoma!
What a powerful and thought provoking song.
God Bless you Wade! I don't think its time yet. You still have a job here on earth you have to do.
How can this song only have 45K views? This is such a great song!

My mom went through treatment for stage 2 colon cancer. She almost didn't make it through surgery. Every time I hear this song, it brings a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye. She made it through everything fine, but at the time, I was asking, is it already time?
