The new album is an 11-song set that I'm really proud of. I’ve always wanted to make a record covering some of my favorite country songs. You couldn't find a better batch of songs to find out where I came from, what influenced me and why I do the style of music that I do. Honestly, I could do another covers album tomorrow of songs that didn't make the cut. There are so many great country songs that sound just as relevant today as they did when they were first hits.

I didn't think ANYBODY could cover a Patty Loveless tune, but Wade Hayes NAILS it on this album, I mean NAILS IT! I think after hearing this new cd, Wade and Patty need to do a Duets album together! I think they would be flawless!

Wade, good to see you back with a new album. I love your music since 'Old Enough To Know Better'. Your voice is country. Your country music style gives me chills. Even after 30 years. A great great number of your songs are among my all time favourites all through the decades. You look so great in the video (Sorry, I'm male but I have to say that 🙂) I'm so glad you're obviously doing great and enjoy life. That makes me so happy. Waiting for many many more albums. Thanks for the joy you've giving me with your music.

As a fan of real country music, the only comment I can make about this alleged country music is use lots of Airwick and flush twice.
