Toms a real one. I lost in the fantasy semi finals one year because my QB kneeled the ball to end the game. The -1 cost me and I ended up losing by .1 or something silly.
I 100% agree, it should go under the team's offensive stats not the QBs. But unfortunately it doesn't lol. And to my surprise, if you try to bring it up in any fantasy league there are actually a good portion of fantasy managers that think this type of thing SHOULD exist. Brady didn't gain a yard tho. He got back to the line of scrimmage so it wouldn't be a loss in tge stat sheet. He's not the only QB that's done this, but I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more often
@whatsomeonesaidwastaken9216 honestly I think it could happen to anyone with enough lack of sleep. I also think it’s unbelievable but then I remember if I skipped a night I lose my perception of jokes even the most obvious ones.
Instead of kneeling when it was snapped and losing a yard, he stepped forward one yard to kneel at the line of scrimmage. I mean it's not rocket science Alex.
One year I took a Super Bowl prop that backup QB from either team would take at least one snap. I didn't see it happen. But end of game when cameras were on winning sideline they didn't show final snap, I checked statline and saw backup QB was sent in and got -1 yard rushing on the game. Saved me but wasn't televised.

It’s the end of the game, Brady (the quarterback on the winning team with the ball) for some reason seems to take a large step forward when he kneels the ball to run out the clock instead of normally kneeling
When teams have a game won, there is no sense in running a play and run the risk of fumbling the ball or whatever, so teams that already have the game won; it's just a matter of running the rest of the clock out, but you have to run plays every 40 seconds. So, this is what happens when a team has the game in hand, not much time left, but more than 40 seconds. That's why this play is run. In this case, the issue is Brady took a big step forward instead of just kneeling like normal.

Hey he actually ran for 81 yards that year, can’t be giving that up
He doesn't sneak in a yard... he just advances the ball up to the original line of scrimmage. Probably trying to save his OL a negative play, I guess.
