- One of the most “What if…?” questions in sports is always to ponder the careers of great players had they gone a different route. Watch "Geaux Brady!" as we explore that question with Montreal Expo’s former 1995 draft pick, the power-hitting catcher, Tom Brady!

Atlanta catching a stray and the Giants still being his kryptonite in this alternate timeline make it perfect
They should have had him on an AL team at least....the Giants and Expos were both NL
@@slkmhs08 They Expos actually drafted him out of high school, hence the commercial.
@@slkmhs08 This alternate Expos team probably lost to the Giants in the playoffs (before the World Series).
@@LuckySmurf I’d also think that division realignment isn’t unlikely either. It’s happened before it’ll happen again.
Tom losing to his home team SF twice in the playoffs woulda be funny. Then Brady and Rodgers would have their hometown as their playoff kryptonite
Don't forget the time he went to the Tampa Bay Rays and won them their first World Series
Their 2nd
And he Beat Patrick Mahomes the second for that seventh ring
Came back from down 28-3 in game 7 of the 2016 World Series against the Atl Braves. Brady hit 5 consecutive grand slams to help the Expos come back and win, on a Brady walk off grand slam in the 13th inning.
Never tell a Atlanta person about Houston location-(Houston is cursed for the falcons)
And never tell Houston fan about Atlanta (Atlanta is curses for Houston Astros)
They were both in the NL so it was game 7 of the NLCS.
@@JoseJimenez-vc7weThey Literally won game 6 of the 21 series in Houston for their chip
@@mistersunshine1330 you got it twisted never tell a falcon fan about Houston never tell a astro fan about Atlanta

Props to Vladdy, Booger, and Pedro....Montreal still loves you.
They called Larry Walker Booger?
As a hard core lifelong SPOS fan and one who cried when they left for Washington i got to admit Brady looks great in that Expo hat
I've been able to bury the pain, but that got me right in the feels, bro. Seeing the boys there...
@@EmotionallyExhausted ✔
✊Mad respect to all y'all Expos fans (from a Tigers fan)...
I know how none of you wanted them bolting from Montreal
Mes amours
This would’ve made a great SuperBowl commercial.
Love seeing Brady continue to lean into his Expos roots! Great addition with those three Expos legends, and with the Happy Wanderer playing on the piano in the background....very nice touch!
Crazy he actually got drafted by the Expos as a catcher
I think he might've been the final Expo draftee to play in one of the Big 4 major league sports.
good catch yer probably right@@joemckim1183
@@joemckim1183 big time gap there
The Expos had the best draft picks ever. They were a major league farm system. Vlad, Alou, Walker, Dawson, Galarraga, Raines, Pedro, and apparently Tom Brady.
Three HOF thanks to Expos, but went in under other caps. Guerrero and Walker were walk-ons, and we acquired Pedro after LAD gave up on him. Miss you guys so much
Love it !!!
Memories of 94'...😣🤦♂️
What could have been ....
Lifelong Braves fan here. If the strike didn't happen that year, the Expos would've cruised to the WS, and probably the next year with that momentum.
7x World Series Champ, 3x MVP ,Biggest comeback of all time against the Braves in The World Series ,649 Home runs .The GOAT
yeah this needs to be made into a movie
The most unrealistic part of this is Brady waking up at 12:12 lol
This commercial is nothing short of AMAZING.
That's such an interesting thought! Imagine the athleticism and strategic thinking Tom Brady brings to football, but applied to baseball. It's always fascinating to think about athletes excelling in different sports. The skills, discipline, and dedication required to succeed in one sport often translate well into another. Plus, the mental and physical agility needed to switch between sports is truly admirable. It's exciting to think about the possibilities and the new dynamics that such a talented athlete could bring to the baseball field! 🏈⚾💫
The expos had one of the best scouting and drafting organizations in all of baseball from the 70’s all the way to the end. Expos gone but Never forgotten!
Tom Brady and Pedro Martinez! Awesome
From left to right sitting at the table drinking beer are former Expo greats Vladimir Guerrero Sr, Larry Walker & Pedro Martinez. Expo fans will remember Vlady never wore batting gloves
He infamously pissed on his own hands to toughen them up...or at least that is what he believed.
This is a beauty. BRING BACK THE MONTREAL EXPOS!!!
Let's do this!
Sport teams I miss. The Expos in Baseball and big time the Hartford Whalers in the NHL. Both teams had great jerseys too.
I have to guess in this alternate universe the Expos got knocked out of the NLCS in either '02, '10, '12, or '14.
Valderi-valdera in the background. And Walker. Topps, you nailed this one - makes the heart happy. Well done.
I have to dig out my Expos hat and wear it tomm. Cool to see Vladdy, Pedro and Walker.
The most unrealistic thing about this video is Tom sleeping in until after noon
I’m more confused about why he’s with the Montreal Expos. Boston Red Sox would have made more sense for the whole ‘New England but baseball’ thing.
Boston is an AL East team, New England plays in the AFC East division. The team colours for both are maroon, white, and navy blue. Boston could still break the Curse of the Bambino with him in 2004, and win 6 World Series during his career, with Tom winning a seventh one after he moves to the Rays.
Plus, the bit about losing to the Giants would make more sense, because A, both the NY Giants won 2 Super Bowls (2007,2011)and the SF Giants won 3 World Series in 5 years (2010,12,14) and B, he could actually beat Atlanta and be beaten by San Francisco in the World Series realistically. IRL, the Expos played alongside the Braves and Giants in the National League, so it’s impossible for them to play each other in the World Series itself.
@@tedioussugar384 Tom Brady was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft. He was actually the very last draft pick in the history of the Expos. He chose college football instead.
@@datsko6339 He wasn't the "very last draft pick in the history of the Expos"....the Expos existed for almost another decade after Brady was drafted.
I love this more than I should
Cool ad but it makes me sad that the Expos are gone...
Great to see the Expos get some love!!!
I grew up adoring them in Montreal, with those epic teams of Dawson, Carter and Raines!
i love how they mentioned lost to the Giants twice, such a great line
Brady was originally drafted as a catcher. A number of NFL QBs who played baseball at a high level were all position players. John Elway was an outfielder, as was Kyler Murray. Russell Wilson was a 2nd baseman. One would think there would be more pitchers. Jameis Winston was an outfielder and pitcher, but I can’t think of any others.
Jeff Samarzija was a Wide Receiver at Notre Dame!
Basketball, Wrestling, Hockey, and Football always overlapped too much in highschool to make it practical to play multiples. Baseball was the sport that was flexible enough with training and for the most part did not have game/match overlaps, that someone could participate in it during their offseason from another sport. Baseball was THE multi-sport option which is why you often see top level athletes in one sport also have a history with Baseball.
As for the pitcher thing, the throwing movement is wildly different between the two. They might both be throwing but they are nothing alike beyond both being throwing. There is also the serious physical concern of overusing an arm even at a highschool level.
Mahomes was a pitcher and was drafted by the tigers wish he chose baseball.
I absolutely love this
Excellent commercial, though the woman ordering poutine isn't quebecer, she speaks with an accent from France.
All the rest is accurate, even the ''arrêt'' stop sign.
The sign should read "Brasserie Brady" to comply with Quebec French language signage law.
@@plrd604 Do not put too much air in your balls. Brasserie à Brady or Brasserie chez Brady('s) sounds better.
Montréal has a lot of expats from France though. Maybe this brasserie is in Le Plateau.
@@edmerc92 100k / 9M, come on dude.
She's a French tourist visiting a tourist trap, parfaitement crédible.
The Brady Auto commercial cracks me up every time
The GOAT!
I never knew (or didnt remember) he was drafted for baseball too.
Bravo!
Grew up watching the Expos until they left. That one really hurt.
Nice one. I like and I subscribed.
Not a Brady fan. Not a baseball fan. Still thoroughly entertained.
Question: does that mean in this universe the 2007 expos would have went 162-0?
Yes and then lost in 4 straight WS games to the SF Giants
@@NorthwoodsTrucking153Wouldn’t that require one of them moving to the AL? Like it’s not the most unrealistic thing to have a team change leagues, but it’s a small issue with our new timeline.
This is awesome, I love Topps, Bowman Draft is a bit out of my price range I'll be buying singles, maybe a cheaper box like a blaster will be released.
Savage comment i hear ya 🔥
This is dope
Kind of weird that it's implied that the Expos in this universe played both the Braves and the Giants in the World Series even though all three are in the National League. I guess it's possible that they only played against them in the playoffs, but that would be weird to bring up in a career retrospective about how he won 7 rings.
I mean, most people are reminded of the 2004 ALCS when they think of the sox run that year, so a massive comeback en route to a world series title isn't far-fetched
The commerical never said those things happened in the WS...all of it could have happened in the NLCS.
This is amazing!
They’re joking but this actually did happen in some Marvel alternate universe
😄😄
Or some DC Multiverse
Umm what was the budget on this baseball card commercial lol. I mean damn, Topps is back and bringing the heat!! I'm about to go dig out my Pro Set..
Curious to know how a 17 year old Tom Brady managed to prevent Larry Walker from leaving the Expos. 😂 Still a fun video though!
I never knew this. cool
TY Eli
Damn I miss the expos.
Did he also win a title with the Rays
Only flaw with this was that Larry Walker had already left the Expos at the time Brady was drafted.
What a nice marketing move. Thanks for the small details like the stop sign in french, wish Garry Carter was still with us, would have been the greatest pub ever!
They forgot the part where he got traded to the tampa bay rays
They actually got Vladimir Guerrero to speak english. This proves Brady is THE GOAT 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Trophy’s go where ? Rings go where. In his pineal gland.
Should have been Nationals. I like to imagine the Expos still move.
!@#$ YEAH! Greatest commercial of all time. Almost as good as still having my Expos.
As a proud owner of a Montreal expos brady jersey, I hate that man, but would've loved him on Montreal
Two poutines with extra Tommy, Merci.
That look said, "baseball, why not!"
Whoever came up with the idea.
Not the ones who exploited and made money from it.
The person who came up with the whole concept…
Genius! Be proud of your creativity
Wrong he messed up big time concerning the character who spoke French. Instead of putting someone from Montreal he put someone from France who spoke with a French accent. So no research was done.
@@mcfly7 the real mistake was having anyone who spoke French at all in it,
His eighth ring will be a World Series ring
Are the Expos somehow in the American League and/or still in Montreal?
People forget, but in the 2020 Tom Brady goes to Tampa Bay Rays and face off Patrick Mahomes Kansas City Royals, in the end Brady and the Rays won the 2020 World Series at Tampa Bay 4-1
That was the best day to be a Rays fan
Pedro Vlad and Walker Classic . Dominican Republic all day
Bring Back the Expos!
He would have endured more contact playing baseball than he did as a protected QB in the NFL.
Reminds me of when Michael Jordan did baseball in the 90s.
That baseball card must be worth Millions.
Approx. 150K
It's fake
The multiverse is real
Brady waking up after 12? 😂 I can't see it'
Amazing ad... bravo. And it's not too late for TB13 to help us, just buy us a franchise!
Funny thing is. Even if the Expos win 7 championships.
They’d still be 19/20 away from the Yankees (Assuming they knock the Yankees out multiple times.
Whomever is responsible Thank You for not using the Washington Nationals uniform. I hate when you look up stats for an Expo player and it's says Washington. The only place Our Expos are honored is at the Bell Center and this commercial. Return MLB back to Montreal
This gave me chills
Of course anything good that happens to the Expos has to be in a dream !
Falcons fans still catching Strays damn it
They will until eternity
Somewhere in a alternate universe
Real dirty using the Expos logos everywhere, even if it’s accurate (still though, this is hilarious).
The absolute best!!! Our Boys of Summer!!!
Better than Disney's What If series
Btw, Brady didn't lose to the Giants, he put them ahead both times, and the defense failed to hold them both times.
he still lost...
@@poluticon But whose fault was it?
@@roguecheddar irrelevant. You win as a team and you lose as a team.
true all the Brady haters always use that "he's only one man on 53 roster team, they all won" until he loses and then they can have their smooth brain moment and blame it all on him, it's pathetic and hilarious.
@@Hagmire I love Brady, he’s my favorite player…but I can still admit he lost.
Tom brady would be a pitcher
I would have found it funnier if he played for the Red Sox alongside Ortiz and the Sox managed to win 9 world series in 20 years.
Brady was actually drafted by the Expos in the 18th round but choose college football instead. If teams weren't afraid he would rather play football over baseball Brady would have been a 2nd round pick in baseball.
damn right he was a "Catcher" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He actually was… he was drafted by the Expos in the ‘95 draft in something like the 120th round. He chose to play football in Michigan instead.

What if...Tom Brady played the other football aka soccer
And we are pretty sure there would be no deflate gate.
WoW
I have no idea what I just watched.
He never would of been known
brady would play for the red sox if he was a baseball player
The french parisian accent…
Bring the Expos back Tom!
Not even a home run would’ve given him enough time to run for 1st base.
Try doing what if tom brady pays cricket with brett lee
"This was gold" from a former Expos fan. Even if Brady decided to play for the Expos they'd have still been played. Expos had a good chance at a Championship that lockout year. MLB robbed the Expos twice and robbed Canadian's I'll never forgive them.
Beat the No Fly Zone Rockies, the greatest show on Turf st louis cardinals twice, Andy red's phillies and the Legion of Boom Mariners.
He'd be a first baseman if he could hit for power. Otherwise AA, tops.
Brady will be playing with the Nationals
What would of been the equal to "Deflate-gate"? corked bat? Sign stealing? share your thoughts.
