I've always been a modern jazz fan. However, I love this song and the harmonies. I've watched Kenny sing this on so many different venues and I love them all. Also, he seems like such a nice man - never a breath of scandal and always comes across as a great performer and individual. All the best to you, Kenny (and Daryl, too).
Fav song, fine fine performance. Remembering that Kenny once said that he wrote this song for his father who was dying. Puts a poignant spin on it but still makes my heart smile. Legends. Thank you!!!
@Daryl Hall The first concert of my life….was seeing “Hall & Oates!” I really don’t understand the beef that happened to the two of you. All I can say is…..wow You two were #electric together!
I love Kenny so much. My favorite song ever of his is Forever. I had broken up with the greatest and forever love of my life when it was released and my heart breaks just as much now as it did back then when I listen to it. We never got back together and yet we remained very close friends for 30 years. Kenny has been recording longer than most people realize. Those who don't know this should check out Loggins and Messina.
I once was part of a project to find the three greatest pop songs of all time. The result: "Penny Lane" by The Beatles "Suspicious minds" by Elvis Presley "This is it" by Kenny Loggins
My only wish is that the video should focus on each of the instrumental in particularly the drummer. Give us an experience of watching them in their craft. Other than that solid gold thank you and much appreciation!
I agree with you, but Michael Mc Donald is a great singer and not just a backup singer on good old songs. He is a real solo singer and notably in The Doobie Brothers
@@PixeHell captain obvious over here. yeah, I am aware of MM's accomplishments as a singer . I am simply stating that he was on so many peoples songs. Like the one here.
Call it the "Mini McDonald". I died laughing when I saw the old SCTV skit with Rick Moranis as McDonald driving to the studio to lay down the one line for Ride like the Wind". Brilliant! 😂😂
How do you do that? No headphones?, drums in the room? damn. I have a digital studio, all gear is recorded through cables, its very quiet in the studio, I can hear keys being clicked, and strings being stroked. I am lost as to how good you guys are. I also must admit the "sitting in" was my favorite album after St Peppers Lonely hearts Club Band. does that give you a clue?

Limited room to set up cameras. If there's multiple angles, you don't want other cameras in your shot.
❤❤❤
j'adore!!🥰🥰
everyone needs to carry Michael McDonald in their pocket wherever they go, so he can complete songs. ;)
