I agree with you, but Michael Mc Donald is a great singer and not just a backup singer on good old songs. He is a real solo singer and notably in The Doobie Brothers

I had broken up with the greatest and forever love of my life when it was released and my heart breaks just as much now as it did back then when I listen to it. We never got back together and yet we remained very close friends for 30 years. Kenny has been recording longer than most people realize. I have a digital studio, all gear is recorded through cables, its very quiet in the studio, I can hear keys being clicked, and strings being stroked. I am lost as to how good you guys are. I also must admit the "sitting in" was my favorite album after St Peppers Lonely hearts Club Band. does that give you a clue?
