Super helpful advice for interviewing and taking criticism at work. It's a pro-tip to look up the interviewer's bio, etc and ask them about THEIR role and interests, and take the focus off of oneself (the person being interviewed). What a relief to stop trying to impress the interviewer. Genuine curiosity is in the approach outlined by Dr. Burns. It'll be a much better two-way conversation as opposed to checking off "correct" answers to interview questions and trying to impress. Thank you!
I don't know Doc. What about the people who are naturally attracted to underage people? Transgender people are human and deserve love. But leave the children alone please.
And are we going to "affirm" anorexic clients now and tell them "yes you are indeed too fat, you should eat less!" when they are obviously malnourished. Are we going to "affirm" depressed people and tell them that their (sincerely felt!) belief that their life is meaningless and will never get better is indeed the truth? It is "their identity"? That would be unethical wouldn't it? Somehow when it comes to "gender" all ethics go out the window and we should all play along with people's internal delusions for fear of offending their "true selves" (whatever that means).
