Adventure 2 Battle on the GameCube was my childhood
9:39 how though? The team switching was literally instantaneous, one frame and you instantly switched. What's disruptive about that? I know a lot of people felt that way for the record, but what's disruptive about instantly switching? It's not being disruptive if it's instant. If it was disruptive, it would take a couple of seconds. Why do a lot of people feel this way?
I just realized there are more remasters/ports/colections than new games on the gamecube.
Sonic riders was my introduction to Sonic and video games in general
Funfact: you could still buy Heroes on ps3 while everything else was delisted a long time ago (even shadow was there at some point, as with heroes, was not digitally available on 360, too). It's the ps2 version but runs a bit better I think. It's rough but it works.
I really wish they would release modern ports for Heroes. I love my gamecube copy, it was one of the first games I've ever played, but a modern port could have a ton of modding potential, and make it more accessible, and not having to use 6th generation hardware to play it.

At that time you pretty much had the whole series plus you can play the advance games on gamecube because of its gameboy advance feature ;)
And both Adventure 1, Adventure 2 only got a gamecube release but didn't release on Playstation 2 or Xbox

Dude the treasure hunting stages have the best controls and music and stages are massive, they have the most replay value. Their great!
This makes me wish we got a blue gamecube!
Before Sonic 06 you pretty much have the series on Gamecube
Sonic 1, 2 and 3 are in Mega collection while Sonic CD is in the Gems collection
Then the Mega and Gems collection has the side games
Then you got Adventure 1 and Adventure 2 release on Gamecube
Then Sonic Heroes and then Shadow The Hedgehog and then Sobic Riders! You pretty much had the whole series around that time
AND with gamecube being backwards compatible with Gameboy Advance you can play the Sonic Advance games on the Gamecube

The worst part about the treasure hunting levels in SA2 is if you're going for an A-rank, you can't use the computers for clues as they lower your score each time you use them

SEGA had said that the reason Sonic games ran better on GameCube than on PS2 or Xbox is because SEGA understood Nintendo hardware much better than they did the other companies.
Adventure 1 and Adventure 2 got a gamecube release as well while they didn't get a playstation 2 or xbox release
And with gamecube allowing you to play gameboy advance games you can also play the Sonic Advance trilogy
You pretty much had the whole series on gamecube (up to riders and before 06 dropped)
I bought a few sonic games for my gamecube and after watching the video im definitely going to play sonic adventure DX. I really want to pick up Sonic Heroes now too since the gameplay looks interesting.
Interesting to note that a well known Sonic leaker claims that Sonic Heroes will be remastered August 2025😄
I played all these games on my GameCube back in the day adventure 1 and 2 and heroes were my favorites

I don't understand why people say Shadow is a spin-off. It plays close enough to the other three mainline Sonic games on the GameCube.
If you want to argue that it is because you play as Shadow and not Sonic, that's immaterial, too. Nobody says Super Luigi U is not a mainstream Mario game.

I havent played a whole lot of sonic but the games are fun. Sonic frontiers is a game i really wanna try out. Also maybe you should consider making videos on pokemon lets go pikachu and eevee or the detective pikachu games sometime.

2 corrections:
1) It's Rouge like the red stuff women put on their cheeks, not Rogue like the X-men.
2) Sonic Adventure DX is not a remaster. A more adequate term would be an enhanced port. It has an extra mode & some minor changes, but it's mostly untouched, especially graphically.

I think you can play these games on the Wii because most Wii's can play gamecube games unless you have a Wii model without gamecube compatibility
