Wow, you are the first reviewer of this type of hybrid cookware to actually have common sense about what they are and, especially, what they are not. You are correct that they are not true nonstick pans. Yes, you do need to use butter or oil when cooking in them, as you pointed out. Congratulations on doing an honest, reasonable review.
I appreciate the comment !!! Thanks !
I have stainless-steel, Cast-Iron skillet and wok and lastly a carbon wok. The majority of people don't know how to season a pan.
Because of the teflon I'll just stick to cast iron. I know theyre heavy but super safe for your family and its a 1 time purchase. I think my oldest cast iron is about 50 to 60 years old.
@@nickc4276 lodge cast iron large cook every thing in it still can’t be beat
I love cast iron pans and have old ones as well but being much older now I find them to heavy.
Maybe you also don't want to stock pile the pans on top of each other, bc they the metal on the bottom of one pan scratches the non stick top of the other. I wouldn't anyway, no matter what the instructions say.
valid point - this is one of the reasons i got these exact pans, becasue they ultimately get stacked... but agree
@@SabiWabi113 Manual included advises do not stack lol
Beautiful stove
It's super important to follow the directions with these type of pans and season them properly!
Agree - oddly enough there wasn't anything in the instructions on seasoning these pans. I was surprised !
I thought seasoning was for cast iron pans!
I just bought mine at Costco. Good luck to me and my family with these pans. Btw. GO BIRDS!!
@@SciaticaDrums instructions don’t mention seasoning. It just says use a little butter or oil to cook.
Thanks for a real review. I’m very tempted by these lately. And Go Birds!!!
Oh my goodness- they are teglon! I just bought them but as a cancer survivor I cannot use Teflon- are you sure it's Teflon? thanks for the review
What is he wearing😭😭 what made you put that on this morning
Does hexclad have teflon?
Hexclad or henckels?? Can someone suggest?
both of them have teflon
@@sahilbhatnagar6947 They are mostly the same. The only difference is Hexclad is thicker and better on induction hobs.
Are these nontoxic? It has teflon???
has teflon
Thank you! Im at Costco right now but I had some concerns and you answered it! Super helpful vide9 thanks again!
