Thanks for your videos they’re very helpful. I watched one of yours recently and just adjusted my brakes and it was very easy. My question is simple. How do I know when I have to replace my brake pad? Will my brakes just stop working? Will I hear a screeching sound?how will I know it’s time to replace the pads. Thanks in advance
I guess it's similar to cars, you check the thickness of the pads. Or when you feel the brakes are not as good as before even after adjusting. And hence I prefer drum brakes or electronic brakes on scooters.
I always keep both hands on, have to for stability. I have had a couple instances where the back tire gets sort of stuck in a rut, which then makes the scooter sort of want to tip over, so i have to fight that tendency.
@@carbrickscity That's the only sad part, is they have to sell and get soo many complaints before they know know what to fix for the updated models. 👍😉
I don't really have a stability issue at this scooter's max speed of 28 mph, when standing, which I prefer to do. But I plan to alter the controller or upgrade to give the scooter more torque. I don't need to go 45 mph, but I'd like to get to 30 a lot quicker and handle uphill better. I did order a steering damper then realized it won't work with scooters that have mini forks.
On the H5 there are 3 Allen screws at the bottom of the handle bat column, do you know what there adjustment is used for and can they be tightened or loosen to help anything?
I went too far by mistake with the 2 front screws and heard a pop and the whole break mechanism fell apart I still have all the pieces but trying to figure out how to put it together again
@@carbrickscity no I’m guess g it just went far enough to unlatch and when it fell I now have 3 bolts and a red piece I can’t re-attach because the wheel is in the way
I have the new H5 (red one). Is it normal for the rear brake to barely slow the scooter? I have noticed most of the slowing comes from the front brake. Rear brake barely does anything.
I have both the old and new one. Both front and rear brakes could slow down the scooter barely. Depends on which screws get loose sooner. I found myself rely more on the rear brakes though.
I think it’s best to rely more on the rear brake, I think that is typical on moped’s and motorcycles. If you rely too much on the front brake, you’re liable to do a header in my opinion.
Actually, sitting down is more stable because you’ve lowered your center of gravity. An example is if your snow skiing down the hill standing straight up and you get kind of wobbly, they teach you to bend your knees and get lower in order to regain control. I.e. lower your center of gravity standing up is very unstable.
Have you done a video on how to replace the break pads? I’m kinda lost on how to fix mine
No.

I found the new one being way more stable than the old one.
I'v had that happen also. Sometimes the tire will skid slip also like its drifting. Decent scooter but not sturdy enough for its own top speed.
The old one yes. The new one is very stable.

I think it had to do with the steering mechanism. But even the new one has some flaws that weren't fixed even after my complaints haha

Best of luck though. I find 28 is plenty fast enough although in real life is closer to 25.
Anyone know how to fix an E3 error code. Bought the scooter from an auction locally.

I don't have the H5 anymore so I am not sure what that is.
Can you tell me how to change the rear mud guard and where the wire connect to
I do not know. Contact support.

Did you use power tools...

Not sure if removing the wheel would work...
Search e scooter brake pad change on RUclips.
Where can i buy rear brake pads vr the h5

Maybe it's unstable when sitting for some weird reason. I took off the seat upon unboxing and never felt unstable.
I don't know. I don't have it anymore. I never even try standing up it was kinda scary.
@@carbrickscity aaah that's too bad. I got mine couple weeks ago and I just love it. But keep on riding mate 👍

If you gotta do all that, you need another Scooter. Should be able to ride just like a motorcycle without special posture.
Maybe.
