Ok, here's my take on the solo of Domination by Pantera. Dimebag was a master in creating cool solos in metal, IMO. This is my transcription of the solo. Enjoy!

might just be because he is in standard tuning and Dimebag plays in full step down

@@xavierpilotte5787 - Dime played some songs a full step down (D standard). For example, Walk, A New Level, Becoming, 5 Minutes Alone, almost all of The Great Southern Trendkill album, and others.
As far as Domination goes....The album version is a quarter step down from E standard. (Basically in between E and Eb.)
E tuning is 440Hz, Eb tuning is 415Hz. So, if you split the difference to get a quarter step, that is around 425Hz. It's only a very slight difference from the E standard, that's why people just play it in E because you can pretty much get away with it.
However, the Live In Moscow Domination version is tuned to Eb, half step down.

This makes the 5 out of 5 covers of this I've viewed so far with NONE of the players using a Floyd Rose...Just my opinion,but without the floyd you can't do real justice to Dimes solo's

You need to adjust your eq. Scoop some mid, add low end, and crank the gain. Sound as little plain.
