Thanks I was hoping someone would say this... I really like the pond... I've almost sorted it and with a mesh screen to stop substrate blocking the pump it should be fine, then I just need to cover it so nothing can get to it
I like the concept of the cave in this video, I’m sure it’s changed by now. But I’d build a couple, maybe multiple caves of various sizes just in case plus it’d look cool
Yea in the end its ended up with multiple caves and tunnles lol. We have begun moving the crabs out into a new enclosure as and when we can as this tanknis now attached to 2 more tanks via a bridge, the Ants are somewhat taking over lol
I take it its pretty humid and moist in there, which rules out some insects and/or arachnids Id have suggested. Assassin bugs would be great, but they like it more dry.
It has high humidity but a good gradient and soon to add a fan for air flow, both hot and cooler places.... I looked at assassin bugs for the future. But would need more layers in the eco system first and as you said maybe some tweaks
@@antsonarock How about a pair of stag beetles, one M and one F? They can live on a piece of old wood, quite happily. You could potentially keep a praying mantis in there. Easy to come by and fairly inexpensive. Fishing spider and giant water bug, not so easy to get tho, but they do come up. Both would do ok in that set up. Maybe a vinegaroon.
Heya, let me know your thoughts on the pond area below.
Definitely keep the water, just rework it

How many days work would that involve.
@@bugpal if all goes to plan I could sort it in a day with the right prep time of course....
Loving this, fantastic job so far
Thanks for this comment... and thanks for watching
Love it
Thank you!!

Ants on a rock jumped on your bus and rang your bell

@@antsonarock All you'd need is a length of cork bark, you'll find that eight will gather on the same piece, which doesn't need to be massive.

@@antsonarock How about half a dozen jumping spiders?
See if you can get some antlions. And some termites.
such a pity that the bicolour couldn´t be left alone by the polys
Oh man yea I wish it worked out but I think the enclosure was just to small tbh
