I feel Mcvay was a lil too conservative down the stretch. I understand it somewhat because they wanna run clock but you also have to give Stafford a chance to finish them off a lil too. He had Bucs defense owned all day and Mcvay could've sealed the win with more balance and not come down to late game winning drive.
@@justinpettit8099 Yeah true, McVay has looked really mediocre as a HC recently. But at the same time, it's not entirely his fault Cam Akers fumbled the ball twice. Or that Kupp fumbled pretty badly. Or that Brian Allen screwed up a snap.

One season out of Detroit, and Matthew Stafford just outplayed Tom Brady to go to his 1st NFC Championship game.
You can’t say he “outplayed Brady”. Has a LOAD of weapons and an elite o line and an elite defense and still almost blew a 24 point lead. Brady on the other hand was getting pressured all day, barely had any help and still tied it up before his defense sold on the last drive

The entire last quarter of this game was nerve wracking. The ending of this game was pure dopamine.

Well the silver lining to the Packers loss is that these last couple NFC West Vids are gonna be dramatic. Also watching Brady lose was somewhat therapeutic
As a Brady fan I’m glad you got some therapy for the Brady loss. It was a hell of a game and enjoyable to watch, I was on the edge of my seat in the 2nd half. Even though Brady didn’t win, it was sort of bittersweet thinking this may be his last game.

They never were stopping Stafford in this game anyway. They broke down on that drive cuz Rams aired it out on that drive. Rams were conservative down the stretch trying to run clock and get out with a win and it cost them.
Imo it had more to do with Rams panicking a little and changing way they were playing offense that whole second half until that last drive, when they went back to what was winning for them in first half, that plus I think Bucs on that drive didn't respect that Rams could pull off a long pass cause thought Rams seemed like were still out of sorts, and again stopped playing that way second half, as they were trying to just make game end, more concerned about clock, but then bang they hit them with it as they weren't respecting it
They celebrated so hard about their comeback, instead of just keeping focused on winning the game.
Lowkey I don’t want to see games winning by field goals because to me it ruins the fun knowing that a team already won and the other already lost but it is what it is and congrats to the rams

Might be the calls against Suh and Brady that should've been against the Rams. Both directly affected whether the teams scored on that drive. Take a td away from the rams or give Tampa a field goal and the outcome is different

This game would have been a slaughter if the Rams didn't decide to stop playing and choke in the 4th. Again. Like I always say to people. I wouldn't put Brady in the top 100 skilled quarterbacks. But I'd put him in the top three quarterbacks all time because of his incredible luck and longevity.
And that's not dissing on luck. I would take luck over skill any day.

The two throws to Scotty and then Mike was clutch to make it 27-20 the plays to get the ball close to the endzone for Lenny to punch it in was clutch also. Remember he was doing this with 0 timeouts.
