As a lifelong Packers fan, I don’t think I’ve ever been as stunned as I was today. I am beyond disgusted with what I saw with this team today. This off-season is going to rough for us, maybe it is for the best that Aaron Rodgers leaves. I think this team needs a rebuild. Love watching your channel Tom, keep doing what you’re doing.

@@razkable that's because we had the 32nd ranked special teams in the regular season, and we lost this game in 2 plays. a 10 point swing in favor of the 49ers. both were special teams plays. the offense stunk it up, but did enough to win. SPT absolutely lost them this game

The last 36 minutes is actully a peice of art, we always see the happy moments where a team does well and the fans celebrate hillariously or the abseloute rage when a team underperforms. I hate that he's so locked on Adams or predetermined with his throw pre-snap. Snap the ball, scan the field, take what the defenses is giving you and throw it to other receivers if they're opened. Used Adams as decoy if they're doubling him. Also did you know Rodgers is 10-1 in games without Adams
As a 49er fan, I'll say this: we should not have won this game. Our offense was putrid. It was a pathetic performance we put on. But we somehow pulled it off. Our defense was fantastic. The Packers o-line sucked all game. Rodgers didn't even play that bad. The offense had great moments. But they just didn't show up. Who do you blame for this? Rodgers? LaFleur? The special teams? This was not just a choke. This was not just a Charlie Brown faceplant. This was a total failure from top to bottom on all fronts. I can hear it in your voice, Tom. This is depressing. I'm obviously happy for my team, but the Packers are the only NFC team I actually like. I was fine if they won. I'm shocked at this gutless performance. I'm legit sorry for you, Tom. Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favres career in Greenbay is (was probably after tonight) staggeringly similar. The early success, the heartbreaking playoff losses post superbowl, and the off field drama. Maybe if we rebuild for a handful of years, I can gain the years back on my life that ive lost with all these stressful playoff games.

I'm a Patriots fan who was at the playoff game against the Titans 2 years ago and it's kinda funny watching Tom go through the game mourning period that I did that night. Not knowing for sure if that was Brady's last game with us, but everyone just kinda knew. Walking back to the parking lot and just waiting an hour in traffic thinking "well shit it's over". That's what makes tonight so painfully if you are a Packers fan. Most years you can say "there's always next year" not this time.
Damn. Just felt like this was the year. I mean, what more can you do from a team building perspective? You got the offense, and the defense to win a championship. In the end, Aaron Rodgers came up very small in a very big moment as always. In a game like this, even just like 1 more long sustained drive that ends in a field goal seals it. But 3 and out after 3 and out he failed to generate anything.
And the special teams. All season long it plagued us. Every kick I noticed the left side rushers would get awful close to blocking it, and I wondered why on earth that was never fixed. Ultimately it cost us the season. Just inexcusable.
I'll always be a diehard Packers fan and Rodgers fan; all the awesome moments he gave us over the years, I'll never forget. Yeah it feels like shit to lose this game; like holy shit I feel like knocking myself unconscious right now. But maybe in a couple years we'll be back in the thick of things once again.

Aaron under delivered but if the special teams could just play one average game everyone would be talking about how this team is SB bound. Plenty of blame to go around but as for the number one culprit, if you literally get one blocked kick instead of 2, you almost certainly win the game. It was the Ugliest/most beautiful game I've seen in a long time. The 49ers shouldn't have won Saturday, Our offense couldn't do anything! I really am very disappointed today. Please tell me if I'm way off with this analysis because I only got into NFL two years ago (I'm from Australia) and chose to support the Packers, in which I've grown to love this team.
Firstly, the special teams has been bad all season, and we obviously got smashed in that area. Don't know how or why it hasn't improved.
The defence played a good game but overall, they're not good enough and not hard and tough enough to play in the playoffs. Looking at the way the Bucs and Rams played defence last week, I just don't see that level on intensity with the Packers, and obviously the 49ers defence is ridiculously good.
On offence, we have a good offence as far as players go, there's no doubt. But why did Rodgers try to pass to Davante Adams so many times? We have two other very good receivers in Lazard and Cobb. Take nothing away from Adams, he is an absolute gun, but the 49ers knew we were going to him and they had him covered ridiculously well, and as a result we were just too predictable. Who's fault is that, Rodgers, Lafleur, or someone else?
In saying all that, I'll never change teams. Packers are a special organisation with a special history and I'm proud to support the Packers.

As a 49ers fans, you guys can thank the Rams for letting the 49ers into the playoffs...The Rams could have finished the 49ers off but they couldn't. Regardless if the 49ers win it all or lose in the next two games...They came into the playoffs and crushed a lot of hopes and dreams. It wasn't looking pretty mid way through the season when Kyle and the team couldn't find their identity. But they somehow pulled it through.

Here's my biggest issue with the game, and Im surprised no one is talking about it. At the end of the first half Rodgers hit the RB and he ran nearly 75 yards almost scoring a TD. Here are my 2 issues with that play.
1- If he kept running full speed he might have gotten in for the TD by hugging the side line.
2- By him hesisitating WAY too early, he lost valuable yards, and then decided NOT to huge the out of bounds line which cost them a REALLY valuable time out.
He could have scored, or kept 2 time outs and been at least in the 10 yard line.
I didn't get to see this game because I had my high school basketball game we needed to win otherwise we would be kicked for a major county basketball event, we lost by 1 point in overtime. I thought at least if the packers won my day would be fine. I went through like 8 emotions at once when I saw the score. Honestly, I would have rather been hit by a train.
Use the loss in your game to fuel next season.
I'm a 49er fan and trust me a lot of us were just as much if not shocked as the Green Bay packer fans and if you watch that part there weren't standing.. they were looking around for the ball because usually when you do a punt block it usually goes off the side either to the left or right and this occasion the ball actually goes up and the only people that can see it or the part returners . That's why you see number 13 from San Francisco 49ers trying to get a ball instead of 49 who got the ball score to touchdown. That could possibly be the greatest punk rock ever in postseason history
That pu t block looked very similar to the one that Georgia blocked the Arkansas Razorbacks, because after the block, they were also looking in the air, until one of their players caught it in the end zone.

I didn't watch the whole game but I don't think the refs had as big of an impact in this game as the did in Cowboys game. Also before you say 14 flags, refs gave at least 2 to Dallas that should clearly have gone to 49ers, never mind the miss holds that favored the 49ers.
Idk why but i feel like niners will win it all just the way they beat ram, cowboys and now packers feels like the bucs from last year
the difference is, the cowboys chokes annually, while the packers are championship hopeful but that's not the case with them anymore when rodgers walks out of that door.
@@1990Thunderbolt How is losing in Championship game better than what Cowboys are going through, even the Texans can make it to Championship game because of how the AFC was during Patriot Brady era. Dallas at least has bad refs for most playoff losses in recent history along with the other team they lose to either being Packers or playing in the Superbowl. Also people make fun of NFC East yet our division hadn't had repeat winners for a while showing that it has more competition than NFC North.

Hey Tom, Jen and I are really sorry about this loss. We were rooting for Green Bay! We are also heartbroken that some people are giving you crap about the loss. Jen is a huge fan of yours and we listen to every cast you do. We also turn the sound down on the game just to listen to your cast. To all the Packer haters "Sit your Ass down!" That would be a unsportsman like contduct call, 15 yards.
