      You talk like a child...
you don't know the chronology of events…
      Briefly.
In 2014, a coup d'etat initiated by the United States took place in Ukraine.
The territory, which is called Donbass, did not agree with this. The new Ukrainian government did not want to have a dialogue with them, but immediately began bombing... More than 14,000 people have died in 8 years… They burned people alive, raped children.... There are many supporting facts. But the Western media was ordered to remain silent
Putin proposed to conclude a peace treaty between the Kiev regime and the separatists (Minsk-1, Minsk-2). Kiev agreed. The guarantor was the leaders of European countries. But then the Ukrainian regime refused to fulfill it....
By the end of 2021, the Kiev regime concentrated 150 thousand soldiers on the borders with Donbass. For what? They were going to destroy this territory in the near future. When Putin was informed about this plan, he made the only right decision - to save the people of Ukraine from fascism!!!
At the same time, drug addict Zelensky said he wanted to create an atomic bomb and use it against Russia... NATO intensively supplied the Kiev regime with deadly weapons... Western civilization is always in favor of war..... Have you forgotten who bombed Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan???
These are your damn soldiers.... Today, when the Russians are saving Ukraine from fascism, you are outraged...
      where have you been before?
You are a victim of Western propaganda...
you are not provided with alternative information...
An amazing fact. Russian state television is prohibited from showing the process of killing Ukrainian soldiers!!!!
There is not a single fact confirming that the Russians are killing civilians!!!
REMEMBER! Putin's mission is to save Ukraine from neo-fascism and, if necessary, the whole world! Are you still in doubt?))
Watch and pray for the Russians…
P/S Smart people are already beginning to understand - this is the decline of Western civilization. It won't be quick, but it will be a crushing retribution... Even nature will be on the side of the forces of Good. Already this summer, she will show herself to the fullest.
Have you forgotten which country saved the world from fascism in 1945 by paying 27,000,000 people for it?????

From Canada: This courage is not going unnoticed. Both Mr and Mrs Kara-Murza are outstandingly brave and determined. Fighting against a totalitarian regime is almost impossible for those of us living in free countries to relate to. Imagine being arrested for holding up a blank piece of paper. My request to everyone in the free world is to make sure this interview is forwarded to everyone they know. Perhaps it is naive to hope that massive dissemination provides a measure of protection for these people. But it is better than not reacting and not expressing support.

Totalitarian regimes are getting easier to understand in the 'free' countries of Canada and US,-- the way the truckers and Jan 6 protesters have been treated and for the same reasons- they protest the current government. So unjust and unconstitutional! Some have died and at least one took his own life in America.

It feels... somehow wrong to click the thumbs-up on a video that's discussing something so horrible, but there's no other way to acknowldege how important it is. The Kara-Murza's have such amazing, mind-boggling courage. As Evgenia noted, if only the West had implemented more meaningful sanctions years ago... and ratcheted up as necessary... *this* invasion would never have happened. Shame on *us* (in the West).

@Bri Ba Possibly, but it's hard to look back with hindsight and see everyone largely ignoring all the signs of Putin's increasing totalitarian rule and still trading and talking, even selling arms. We in Britain were outraged at the Skripal poisoning, Navalny, Nemtsov and all the rest. But apparently 'it's their country, we can't intervene' was the overriding response.
I wish there was a world-wide decision to disallow people to remain in power for more than 10 years. By people, I mean men.

I also feel strongly that western allies should have responded with sanctions in 2014. It’s beyond hearbreaking
It is very difficult for me to simply read of the atrocities, and those actually in the midst of this reality girding themselves with the imperative to prevail over this evil are heroic human beings.

I feel that everybody who opposes Putin can do something to stop the attrocities going on in Ukraine, although not everybody is able of such bravery. Let's support Ucraina in our small ways: reduce fuel consumption, reduce electricity consumption, boycott every single product coming from Russia, Belorussia and countries that support Putin. I hope that Europe will stop buying gas and oil from Russia sooner than later. It is so revolting that we continue to sponsor Putin s invasion by paying more than 1 billion euros per day for the gas. In the meantime very brave people are risking their life fighting for the freedom that we are taking for granted in the West.
