    I am an art teacher and truly appreciate how well you describe your technique while you are painting. Such a pleasure to watch. I mean this in the highest regard....you are the Bob Ross of watercolor and make this wonderful medium accessible to all.

    I was so happy to know someone else thinks the brushing of the colors on the paper is "delicious!" I also think of it as "luscious" sometimes. Always makes me happy.

    Thank you so much for this! I haven’t painted for years and recently wanted to get back into it. So, I have attempted to paint this on a card for my husbands 40th which is on Tuesday. I’m actually quite proud of the result and also really enjoyed it. Thank you so much, I think you might have got the enthusiasm inside me burning again!

    My daughter always paint landscapes, she has a lot of passion in painting, but she doesn't know the techniques to paint with watercolors and she paints with acrylic but she discovered your channel and your paintings are awesome!     I love your painting! There's something about wetlands, and that's what this painting reminds me of. Huge mountains are majestic for sure, but the peaceful nature of the 'quieter' spots are my fav. Lovely painting and thank you for sharing how to try to accomplish it. 😊

    I absolutely love the way you narrate what you're doing, and really explain how you're using your brush etc. This was utterly inspiring and the passion with how you paint, not obsessive over details creates such a beautiful painting.     I've resurrected my watercolour painting in the current lock down. It's been over 20 years since I did any painting and I love your channel and have been practising a lot! I have learned more from a couple of your tutorials than I ever did before - but I still haven't learned to stop when I should! There's always that brush stroke too far!!

    Lovely Karen! I’m going to give it a go and try the salt thing again. Usually I don’t have much success with salt. 💕

      Hi Connie, good luck... usually it's timing with salt, don't put it on when the paint is too wet or too dry and ensure you don't use low salt as it doesn't work as well. :)
