    Thanks for the video. It’s very helpful. I appreciate when an individual goes to the lengths of filming, repairing, and describing everything all with just a phone. 👍

    My dishwasher wasn't drying so I tried a few things suggested by other RUclips videos but it didn't work. I changed the flood switch following this video and it worked!!!!!!! Thank you for a great, well explained video. After watching this, I changed it without a problem. It was very easy.

    I just watched about a half dozen "dishwasher doesn't heat" DIY videos and yours was the most succinct, straight forward "how to change out the flood switch" of them all. If I'd seen your vid first I wouldn't have wasted so much time on the others. Good job!

    I’m so mechanically inept that when I buy a screwdriver at the hardware store, I have to sign a liability waiver, but your video was so clear that I actually repaired my dishwasher.

    Great video covering all the steps. I did find the spinner washing arm very easy to remove. A slight turn on the disk under the arm and the spinner lifts out. Forgot to unplug the unit and I don't remember double checking the o-ring was on the new part; though pretty sure it was as had no leftover o-rings. Will find out when I run the first load of dishes. Noticed one of the metal contact pins was slightly bent on the new part. Used a screwdriver to straighten it. Thanks for your video.

    I pulled out the part and tried cleaning it. I was able to “unstick” the float inside of the part and cleaned out a fair amount of gunk. I was sure it would work but to no avail. Bought the part new and wah lah! It’s back to working normally.

      The thermistor inside of it actually controls the drying, also the TCO on the bottom right of the tub on the outside. Appliance repair replaced the main board at their expense, I spent a couple of bucks and did just this. Everything 100% including water temp boost, sanitize, and heated drying. Thanks Brazil!

    what has a flood switch got to do with a dish washer not drying the dishes?

    • @YeshCanHelp
      @YeshCanHelp  3 года назад +6

      Good question. As we learn different things about appliances we learn that faulty parts can affect the dishwashers functionality. The flood switch determines certain levels and loads. A malfunctioning flood switch can make a dishwasher think that it's still filled with water thus not alloing the drying element to turn on

      of course there are many reasons... main board, heating element, flood switch, vent valve, but a few people posting here replaced the heating element first and then their flood switch and it fixed it.
