Good tip. I have a car you should take it and make many videos repairing it. It's a beautiful 2003 Mercedes SL500. For the hardtop convertible, I replaced the O-ring on the roof locking cylinder, then replaced the cylinder that raises the front of the trunk. That one is right by the left taillight. Just replaced the pump/valve block assy. Now it's dead and says "in operation' so a microswitch isn't closed. Another thing: The A/C blower doesn't work. Pulled the motor and connected it directly to a battery. Sounds like a shop vac. Bought a used resistor but still doesn't work. Engine & Trans are great but... If you floor it enough to press the downshift button under the accelerator, the car goes into limp mode. It's drivable but throttle response is very delayed but will eventually cruise at freeway speeds. You have to slow down to like 10 mph or less, shut it off and restart it and it's fine. The ABC system does occasionally show out of range or something like that on the right rear but works just fine. You can take my car in Mesa Az to make all the videos you want.
The dude could stop fricking talking. I could barely make my way to the end of the video. Half of what he said was so rudimentary. Get to the fix, man...

Lifesaving?? I think not.
Could have been said and shown in a 15 second video.
Sorry, dude. Can't understand half if what you said. I watched the hack and thanj you fir that.
Very cool!
I learn something new everyday.
I think 20 seconds is rather optimistic but nevertheless we got there in the end.
A bit too much waffle if I may politely suggest.😊
Good tip.

Keep gas door locking mechanism and hinges , etc lubricated with silicone spray .
A lot of rattle to show 10 sec job 😂
Brilliant thanks
Where are you located? I’m almost sure I need a shift solenoid replacement and a transmission drainage done on my car.
Awesome tip
I don't own a vehicle with one
But maybe I can help another motorist out someday
👍excellent from PR🇵🇷
Wow!!!!!
Thanks! 😊
Rube Goldberg engineering at its finest.
Good to know. Thanks.
Its a bmw.....
EVERYTHING on it is designed to FAIL.
Wow, a solenoid just for a gas fill door?
A cable to the lever by the driver's seat next to the trunk open lever would be cheaper and more reliable. But then again it is a BMW.
You talk Too Fast.....can Not understand....
Slow down the video.
It's not the speed it's the accent. I'm from Texas and understood him
usually there is a lever inside the trunk to open the gas cap door
Well….there’s 3 minutes I’ll never get back…
Please explain how not being able to open your gas cap is life threatening. I like the tip, but the premise is pretty hyperbolic.
Sometimes if you fully close the door then with the fob lock the car then unlocked it and my car unlocked the gas door
Can’t understand a word!!!!!!! Sorry.
BMW:
Break my wallet
Big money waster
Bavarian money waster.
None for me!
Lottsa sizzle for little steak
I think this mechanic is speaking English, but I am not sure.
Thank you for the tip. Your speech is difficult to understand. Maybe if you talked slower might help. Blessings to you.
So BMW can’t make a reliable gas door?
Need an interpreter.
My French is bad, please slow down your speak

I gave up halfway through
It was just a 3 minute vid
And you can FF

Boring
Get to the point already!
