It brings back fond memories, In my son's last year of high school about 8 or 9 years ago, he wanted to perform this at the school end of year concert playing both guitar and saxophone, getting permission from the school to bring me in on electric piano and his sister doing vocals with some of his school rock band friends filling in on backing. The applause was deafening.

Mike Oldfield must have had Bonnie's voice in the back of his mind while producing this song. It just fits with a lot of her more epic "jim steinman" material.
Bonnie could’ve easily went traditional country/western. I’m confident that would’ve sounded great. Oldfield is so brilliant. I would love to hear his opinion on that.
Grew up listening to this. My parents were friends of one of the guys that worked with him so got to hear this and other stuff like tubular bells 2 long before they were released to the general public.
