This tour has lost its mind !! All they bang on about is THE FINALS THE FINAL 5 !!! The true world champ should have to beat everyone everywhere. I wanna see the whole tour at trestles … not a select few that seem to be “the select few” ….. But I do love the equality, equal pay for the women! But that doesn’t extend to the conditions, if it’s shit send the women out .. if it’s good send the men out !
shame that jbay does not feature guys legends like julian wilson, michel borez, owen wright, wade carmichel, jeromy flores, etc...... and younger gun guys that should be on tour but fell off due to bad luck and close judging calls, and covid stuff.... like ryan callinan, conner coffin, leo fioravanti, fredrico morais, etc. all of these guys would beat more than half of the guys on tour in places of consequence like pipe, tahiti, jbay, gland and margarets. the WSLs new tour seems like a joke to me. a CIRCUS. all about money and excitement.... but hollow...! NOT about FAIRNESS..... the finals at tressles again... how can a POWER surfer win the world title when tressels distinctly favours trick surfing?? always at tressels.... doesnt that favor american surfers and local surfers like felipe toledo...? is that fair?? a world title is run over the whole year, not one event....! its going to be such a joke when the best in the world going in the final event is injured....! imagine if felipe toledo is injured this year and he goes into the finals with 15000 point advange.... and he cant surf properly due to a injury. what a farce that will be. Women should NOT have equal pay for sub standard performances. They cant even surf the same waves, ie Pipe, Tahiti, Hawaii etc
