the zürichberg is hard. like not quite redoute hard but with the witikon climb following right after, it's gonna be selective. i wouldn't count on mvdp or the top climby sprinty bois being able to follow a serious attack from pog or remco
@@JohnBaxter-j2x the only way i can see this being a sprint finish is if a small group of 3-5 of the most resilient riders arrive together. ive gone down zürichberg but not up, but it's a proper steep climb. no way there's gonna be a bunch sprint.
Not that difficult, nowhere to make a move and surge forward. The only one who could make a move out of nothing is Pogacar; maybe Evenpoel. Could end up with 5-7 Liege type of riders having to fight for the line.
Thanks for the great insights. I rooting for my country Eritrea 🇪🇷
Zero chances for sprinters. This track is suited for all rounder.
Some great ones in the Worlds, for sure. It's just sad that Wout won't be there, this time. It still promises to be a great one for us fans.
It's long, if it's gonna be rainy too, do not count out Mads P
Skjelmose is the one they will ride for in the worlds... But with that form Mads is riding with never say never!
He got LBL this year as well so a Monument, 2 GT's and Worlds. Who has done that?
Hope there will be a similar look at the tt course!
Stefan Küng on home roads, on form, will probably be in the mix too.
not a chance, same goes to Remco
@@aaxxano remco??
@@aaxxa and which argument do you use to support your statement? Remco is also a big favorite to win the race...
slovenia and Belgium well be favorite with Netherlands as outside and wildcards like spain
Gradients seem shallow -- seems like organized teams will neutralize most of the attacks. Going to be hard for the likes of Pogi to even get away :(

@@franzroth2830 whew, here's hoping! I find winners of mass sprints unworthy. I want to see racing, not wheel sucking.

@@JohnBaxter-j2x guess what? Pogi won by breaking away 💯😆
@@ylleknai9830 I was worried he was going to get caught, he looked like he was bonking. Whew!
hope it doesn't snow :)
already? It seem like 2023 worlds were just yesterday.
It's that time! :)
Bro it’s been late enough it’s almost October 😂. It was august last year

What are the odds that’s Tadej gifted roglic the giro so roglic is his domestic at world championships

Remco is only favourite.
