I sacrificed my remaining vacation days, a lot of money, and a lot of time to watch the Seoul Series of the Dodgers in Korea this time (I attended all four games of the Dodgers). But more than all these sacrifices, it was wonderful to see the players whom I could only see on MLB TV up close and personal. I'll never forget the day when I chanted "Freddie" together with an American Dodgers fan sitting next to me, a Japanese couple in front of me, and myself, a Korean. I'm so grateful that the Dodgers came to Korea. During Joe Torre's coaching era, I was a college student and Kershaw was a rookie. Now he's a veteran, and it made me realize that I've also grown older. Thanks to the Dodgers coming to Korea this time, I had a meaningful experience meeting Trevor Hoffman and SooHoo and taking pictures with them. I hope the Dodgers come to Korea again before I die, but I know they're a popular team and there are rumors they might go to Japan. So, I'll plan to go see the Dodgers in Japan next year, and then my next destination will be Chavez Ravine. Not Disneyland, not Hollywood, not Santa Monica, just Chavez Ravine! Thank you for the great time in Korea, Dodgers. I sincerely hope to see you next year in Tokyo, Japan, and in LA afterward.
As a Korean MLB fan, watching major league baseball AFTER work was unbelievable! we used to watching it in 5:00am, 11:00am 😂😂 I was at the 2nd game. I will never forget the atmosphere. Hope see you soon guys
All Koreans live with the Dodgers in their hearts. That's because there is a induction from Park Chan-ho to Ryu Hyun-jin. It's so sad that there were no Korean players in the Dodgers this time. Thank you for seeing Korea so well and thank you for enjoying it.
I'm Korean and dodgerfan. I was dodgerblue since 2018 world series. Game 3 was incredable, that game made me a dodgerfan. As a dodgerfan, I remember a lot of unforgettable memories. Mookie Betts, 2020 World Series, Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani and Seoul Series. Special game and Opening Series, They will never be forgotten for the rest of my life. I was so happy to shout "Let's go Dodgers" at Gocheok Sky Dome. Thank you to the Dodgers players, coaches, and all the members of the organization for playing such a great game. THANK YOU! LET'S GO DODGERS!!❤❤
One of the most wonderful places on earth. Absolutely love Korea. Really hope to make it there myself one day. So cool to see the dodgers play and get love there 🫰🏻
Great episode. Some random takes: 1) Chan ho park has aged really well, still very handsome. 2) Jack Harris looks just like I expected. Maybe a bit younger though. 3).Andrew Friedman throws a tight spiral. 😂
It is nice to know that for all of his pitching & beard skills…Alex Vesia has the same sense of direction as I do. Even though he’s a LHP, when he’s told he needs to make a Left turn probably makes the L with his left thumb & forefinger like I do to confirm which hand & direction to turn 🤭🤦🏻♀️
The LA Times reporters in this knew they were dropping hit pieces on Ohtani when this was filmed. They should be banned from the clubhouse and from interviews.
All these dudes brought their wives and girlfriends to Seoul but all I remember is them ogling and leering at that hot Korean actress when she was throwing out the first pitch 😂
When his performance was not good, Dodgers Freeman was in a slump and Ohtani was in poor scoring capacity. Betts has ups and downs, and Yamato, which he ambitiously brought in, is truly disastrous. If he fails to win this year, he should have taken Lee Jung-hoo, grandson of the wind. If he fails to win the championship this year, the direction is wrong and he should be completely corrected. - Dodgers fan living in Korea-
I was born near that ugly dome they played in... when I was little tho, there was nothing but dirt or tall grass by the majorly polluted river with no fish in it. We weren't even allowed to swim in it. I can't 'freaking' fathom how that piss poor nation I was born and grew up until my family immigrated to US that still had plastic roofs and cinder block wall houses to have grown into top 12 to 15 economic nation in the world. I mean, I am old as dirt, but come on, there is a baseball team in my birth town!

Damn I’m happy for you man! Sounds like you had a great time. Go Dodgers!
What a beautiful and amazing experience you’ve shared with us, one true Dodgers fan and hope you’ll be at Chavez Ravine soon 💙

What a unique and amazing experience that must have been. South Korea looks exciting.
Man I love Backstage Dodger's even though I'm a Detroit Tiger fan. Such a great production!
Ryu and his former teammates showing him soo much love and affection was the best part
I love Vesia! Although he is so, shall I say, nervous when he's pitching, he's like a kid in a candy store there in Seoul. I love it!!
I was happy to be able to watch the Dodgers game in Korea.
Thank you!!
올해는 꼭 우승하길!!!!! let's go dodgers!!!!

thanks for making this . we always love Dodgers as Korean. Hope to meet next time again!
South Korea had the IMF financial crisis in 1997. Chan-ho's performance was a great help to the people.
What a season of historical proportions culminated to the doorstep of a world series championship
Such a quality episode!
Alex was having the time of his life😂
I remember watching Chan Ho Park in the 90s and he came to Montreal to play and we met him after, he was such a nice guy.
Excited for next weeks episode!!!
Ryu had a really great relationship with his former teammates 😁✨🤟
Ohtani era has officially begun and I'm alive for ot 🎉💙
Go Dodgers❤
the amount of times vesia said "DUDEEEE" lmfaooo
"Lets Go, Dodgers"
I love that shohei’s dog is on posters too 😂
After that, the Dodgers went on to win the World Series.
I'm glad they got to check out some food in Seoul! Korean food and culture is amazing!!
alex vesia and 7/11 will never not be funny
Those security guards walking with Ohtani in the airport had some dang Terminator glasses on

17:44 still got the express chan ho 😂😂😂
btw I love how Chan Ho is older and much more respectful, whereas younger Ryu is kidding around with his old manager like he is just a friend.
can you guys post more full episodes please
DODGERS IS THE NATIONAL TEAM FOR KOREAN SINCE 90'S
17:30 what a movie scene of that!

Alex is hilarious!!
I hope Dave Manager and Tyler, Yamamoto, Chris, Alex, Joe and Max are always healthy. Thank you.
The LA Times reporters in this knew they were dropping hit pieces on Ohtani when this was filmed. They should be banned from the clubhouse and from interviews.

Alex Vesia is a dork
All these dudes brought their wives and girlfriends to Seoul but all I remember is them ogling and leering at that hot Korean actress when she was throwing out the first pitch 😂
@ Los Angeles Dodgers how is Quinton Crenshaw doing with the dodgers can you tell him to go to the Detroit Tigers next year
LETS GO DODGERS💙🫶
I was disappointed that Otani didn't sign even a single person at the airport.
I’m pretty sure he was instructed not to due to security reasons
Please Japanese subtitles🙏
lol, they were all sitting the handicap/elder/pregnant ppl seats in the subway
굳
오타니
Not one mention of Hee Seop Choi?
Great video but the Gibson curse of 1988 is still alive(no. 2020 does not count). GO GIANTS !! HUMM BABY
2020 does not count in your own little world. To everyone else, it does.
Ask Snell if he thinks it doesn’t count.
Park could've worn Dodgers jersey fs
He also played for padres in 2002-07 before returning to the dodgers in 2008 for his final year..thats why he is wearing split jerseys.
@@DDNoj I thought he was wearing a Padres Jersey because he currently works for them.

Man Alex vesia sucks and he’s like the kid on a trip
